I ordered a set of ar500 body armor from Patriot Armor on June 19th, 2016. After a few days of not getting a confirmation, I called with a general question regarding the plate carrier and I asked when I might expect my order. I spoke with Cindy and she informed me that the items were on back order and they had a lead time of 1 month. I told here that this was unacceptable because I needed the items sooner, I explained I ordered from them because I live in the same state and I expected the items to be received quickly. Cindy was extremely rude and told e that their lead times were on their website. I explained that this is not the case. She then sends me a receipt via email that says expect the items in 2-4 weeks.
When I initially called about this package I was told they are in stock for immediate shipment so Cindy told me to write an email explaining I needed the items sooner and the owner could maybe arrange something. After I was told they could not get my items to me any sooner than 2-4 weeks I politely asked for a cancellation and a prompt refund,after all ,they dod not start working on my order yet. Cindy Became very rude and said I needed to send an email explaining I want to cancel the order and that the owner would think about it. This is highly unethical, what do you mean think about it.
SO I sent an email and I was told by Cindy that the owner would NOT take time away from his busy day to refund me. She stated that customers that were actually willing to wait for their products got preference. She said that there would be a refund whenever they felt like it but not to expect it sooner than 30 days! 30 days for a refund? Are you kidding me? They are bullying me with extortion tactics!! What they say on the phone is not what they say in emails! They are very rude and abrupt on the phone while leaving no evidence in an email they are cordial.
We processed his refund same day but it takes a few days to be posted to his account
This customer emailed us and asked for a refund. We said ok but it takes 7-10 days. He said that is not good enough and we said that it takes 7-10 days. We explained to gim in the email that it takes time to get the money back on his card from PayPal who is our credit card processor for all transactions wether you have a paypal account or pay by credit card. He thought we were lying because he didnt use paypal. We told him that they are our processor for ALL TRANSACTIONS!
We processed his refund on our end the same day he emailed us but it takes several days to get the money back on his card which is why we say 7-10 days. The refund was processed the same day it was asked for but because the bank hasnt put it on his card yet he thinks its our fault like we can make them go faster. Do not do business with this man he is obviously disturbed.
