Patricia Pierson CACIII is a relatively new employee of Denver Cares Community Detox.
Here is my concern:
I was taken voluntarily to Denver Cares on 08/29/2016 for suicidal ideation; I was not intoxicated whatsoever.
During this time Patricia yelled at me "You need medication! That is part of your problem!
This was done so in a crowded dorm; I was humiliated that my current treatment plan (I have been deemed "medication resistant"/behavioral therapy seems to be preferred by my doctors) and medication status had been broadcast publicly.
I have filed a HIPPA complaint.
Patricia told me that she saw me fit for discharge. I walked back to the bed I had been assigned, put on my shoes, and approached Patricia letting her know that I was ready.
She said "Well, I was going to let you go now, but now you are going to have to wait. What do you think about that?"
There is no other reason to say this to me than to evoke a negative emotional response. A negative emotional response from someone under Patricia's care who was known at the time to be suffering from suicidal ideation.
Also, since she found me fit to leave and pushed the time further for no other reason than to satisfy herself it is safe to say that I was unlawfully detained during this time.
Upon walking out of the facility Patricia yelled at me and called me a liar. This was a lot to take at the time.
Please do your part; if this person is allowed to continue there...
She. Will. Kill. Someone.
But don't take my word for it; if you would like me to send you screenshots of Patricia calling clients at Denver Detox crazy, photos Patricia posted of herself drinking to excess, complaining about the application process for Denver Health, etc...Please reply; I'll be happy to provide this material to you.
Please help the person whose life hangs in the balance. Patricia will push someone over the edge soon; no one will ever know.
Please help; I filed a HIPPA complaint along with two other (lincensing board, hospital) and got no response whatsoever.
I am not surprised; they are taking care of their own and don't answer to anyone.
