I hired Pat Fagen to repair a crawl space in a house I am selling in Sault Ste Marie,MI He approached me about the repair and I will forever regret every agreeing to do business with him. We negotiated an agreement, he would receive cash and rent in exchange for service. The job should have taken two weeks, three at the most. ONE YEAR later the job was completed. Like other of his victims have written, he claims it was weather related... one year.. .?? I continued to rent to Pat Fagen on a month to month basis while the house was for sale. I recently went and talked to Pat Fagan and told him my house was selling, I gave him 30 days notice. A month had passed and I had not received rent nor had he left my property. After he received his eviction notice he informed me he was not leaving until the Sheriff removes him. The buyers backed out of sale and Pat Fagen owes me $1,100 in rent. I for to mention, I'm the bad guy because my house was finally selling and he would have to move.
