My son has been dealing with the aftermath of cancer that he had at age 2. He is now 32 and has been on maintanance meds most of his life. His original endocronologist retired and we are in a transisional state. He ran out of his meds and the drug store requested a script for refill. they were told he could get one but we had to make an appt. We got a 30 refill and I made an appt for july 3rd. It was 2.5 months away but that was the nearest appt we could get. Of coarse his script ran out after 30 days and they would not refill. I called them and they said we needed to make an appt. before he would get any. I said we had an appt but I canceled it due to the fact he had been out for 2 weeks by that time and anything the Dr. would check of coarse would not look right due to the lack of meds. and that when he gets back on them asap I would make an appt. again. They said they would consult a dr. and get back. That was 2 weeks ago and still no call. This is nothing more than white washed extortian as far as I am concerned.
I went to Park Nicollet for medical exam which is in-network and i have some vision problem so i took appointment which is in the same floor with Park Nicolet eye care... the appointment was taken and service was done and in all due process i was been serviced by out of network provider who never ever care to tell me that i am Out of Network to them and vice versa... this is total scam and i been sent a bill of 365$ where as i am 100% covered in my vision and if i would go to in-network specialist for eye.. i would have paid nothing...
Patricia Block who claims as supervisor said they dont inform the customer since it is customer responsibility which i disagree since any service provider does this basic checks and informes customers that they are out of network .. are we ok with it...
The way this is been handled and Patricia responded that it is not Park Nicolet responsbility.. is total Rip Off... how can anyone get a huge bill since service provider dont do the basis checks... this is one way to make money....
we Pay high cost insurance already and when we get huge bill which could have been avoided by doing some basic checks... will help all in the long run to avoid any unnnecessary cost..
I called Attorney General and going to register a complaint for Park Nicolet eye Care health services.
