In 2016 I became victim of financial crime, I was blackmailed, driven to suicidal condition, and it effected my health really badly. I became patient at psychiatric office. I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression (Major Depressive disorder and General Anxiety disorder). Due to high stress, my physical health got affected. I was late on my payments due to being victim and having health issues, so PLB sent me eviction docs. I offered them money to pay for everything, explained my situation, sent reasonable accommodation request together with police and medical records. But my reasonable accommodation was ignored and no one responded. For whole month I been sending emails, calling, but no one replied. Two days before court date I was in ER room, on the court date I been taking tramadol (narcotic) due to unbearable pain. Park La Brea's attorney pushed me to sign documents.
When I came to collect my belongings, all boxes were upside-down and all expensive stuff was stolen. I had to call police. After we rescheduled for another day to pick things up. When I came- same story again, everything upsidedown and more stuff were missing.
I was extremely upset, and those 5 securities started telling me to get out, I got scared and fainted, so they called police and said I wanted to commit suicide. Police forced me to hospital. Doctor was shocked about what happened, because she saw my condition, saw what type of infection I had, saw how scared I was.
Park La Brea never got me my belongings, they kicked out sick women who is a victim of crime and cant protect herself to the street. Now they keep on saying: "You signed documents". I was in suicidal condition on MEDICATION! Of course I was scared under their pressure and signed everything.
Now I am little better and want my belongings back plus compensation for all this hell I been though.

4. Failure to provide safe environment;
5. Burglary;
6. Discrimination against victim of embezzlement;

Living here has been a complete nightmare. I absolutely hate myself for moving here. PLEASE if you have any sense at all, find another place. I cannot stress enough, do not make the same mistake I did. I do not have the time to go into everything that is wrong with this place, but if you can imagine it....well. From the living conditions, (rats, a million bugs) to the office, this place really gets to you. I am counting down the days until my lease ends and move FAR away from here. Can't sleep, can't think. i dont even want to touch certain cupboard in my kitchen because they were COVERED in rat droppings. IMAGINE! horrible people work here, (maintenance however is pretty cool, but) and you will truly hate yourself if you fall for it. goodnight, and goodluck. Worst mistake i made in my life!
