John Pallotta boasts that he is the most sought after acting coach in the nation. He claims to have taught emmy/oscar winning actors. Posts on facebook that he is "honored" to be coaching an award winning actor, but he can't disclose the name...John Pallotta claims that he has casting calls and auditions that never materialize. This is all to get students to pay 300+ dollars a month for his acting class, which is not a real class. I have studied with some great teachers. John Pallotta is a desperate man, recruits and abuses hardworking actors who are already navigating their way through a tough business. He has recently held an intensive at, what he claimed to be a "Huge" agency, which he did not disclose the name of until after the event. He called the agency, "nine9 agency" but doing some research one would find that this agency has been sued over the past 5 years, shut down twice and reopened under another name for doing exactly what John Pallotta is doing: scaming actors. The real agency's name is nine9 Unagency. Look them up and you will see the reports and law suits.

For someone who claims to be the most sought after coach in the nation, declares to have worked as an actor (but has no real credits to show for it), professes to have studied under ALL of the greats (he lists them in a classes, Bobby Lewis, Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, this a tactic many scaming teachers use to enlist students into their studios) yet there is no record of this or of his studies or training or of the people who were in his class studying with him. John Pallotta post endlessly on facebook about his greatness, yet can't fill a studio of students on his own. He makes verbal promises to young, local actors (typically women) who believe what he says is true so they do the work for him.

I'm writing this report not to interfere with anyone and their business. I'm posting this because it truly makes me sad to see someone taking advantage of actors. I have worked hard and studied the craft very seriously. I believe it is morally unthinkable to have someone pretending to be a part of the industry to make a buck.
