I bought a very average painting online from paintinghere.com, I couldn’t be bothered to ship it back as they said I would have to pay for all shipping costs. The strange thing is a month later I received a charge of $89 from a restaurant in Xiamen, China on my statement, I’ve never been to China so was shocked to see it there. I challenged it with my card company who asked if I had made any overseas card payments in the previous month and the only one I had made was to paintinghere.com
I then rechecked their payment system and it was DEFINITELY not on a secure server, in fact instead of being transferred to a bank’s secure server, paintinghere.com ask you to enter you card details on their unsecured page, you know it’s unsecured because the web address is http rather than htpps (the s is for secured) and no padlock icon appears in the bottom right-hand corner as it does for a secured page (see screenshot). So they can see and skim all your card data and then use this information to make false charges against your card.
Don’t enter you card details on paintinghere.com, it is not SAFE.
Our lab technicians tested the oil paint in a badly painted fake Dali reproduction painting by paintinghere.com, we found it to have 13,000 parts per million of lead. This is extremely high and to safely handle an oil painting from paintinghere.com made from cheap Chinese oil paint, you need to wear rubber gloves and a face mask that closely covers the mouth and nose and does not allow paint particles to enter in. After handling the paintinghere.com oil painting, you need to dispose of the rubber gloves and face mask securely and wash your hands in running water, scrubbing vigourously, for at least five minutes.
I bought a Dali reproduction from paintinghere.com, located in Xiamen, China but unfortunately the package was opened by US Customs who asked me to provide evidence that this was a licensed copy of Picasso's work. I called Wujin Lu at paintinghere.com who assured me it was licensed but stopped replying to my emails when I asked them to provide the licensing agreement so that I could clear the painting through US Customs. Now my painting is stuck in Customs who won't release it and paintinghere.com won't reply to my emails so I can't even get a refund from this Chinese company. Do not buy paintings from the Chinese crook Wujin Lu at paintinghere.com
I purchased a painting online from the website paintinghere.com i was anticipating the arrival of my new prized possession with a lot of gusto. Very soon, my bubble burst because firstly, the painting arrived 25 days later than it was supposed to. I was not very impressed with the packaging as it had started to give way. That’s unheard of! secondly, i noticed that after a few months of purchasing the painting, the paint started peeling at some points. There were also air bubbles that were entrapped which gave the painting a very uneven look and feel to it. A total let down from paintinghere.com for me. I asked paintinghere.com for refund, they never response! there is no address on their website, scam!
I was about to purchase a painting from Paintinghere.com. After reading all of these negative and trustworthy reviews (i believe in you all!) i will not be purchasing any artwork whatsoever from this company. If something sounds too good to be true, then buyer beware! I wanted to buy art work reproductions, hand painted by this company. Price was fantastic.....hmmm and that's when i decided to check reviews. The reviews on the actual Paintinghere site triggered my need to research other reviews because i am sure most of these reviews are FAKE!! Hence, here i am thanking all of you on this page.!!
