We bought a couple of Georgia O'Keeffe paintings as she is a famous American artist. But when they were shipped from China, US Customs stopped them and asked me to produce the license from the O'keeffe estate authorizing the copies. I contacted Alex at paintgiant.com who told me that it was nothing to do with him. I answered him that the paintings are available on his website but he replied his reproduction rights only applied to China. I asked why he then he shipped to the US at which point he cut the call and now ignores my emails.
I bought from them twice and they managed to screw up both times. First time they put the wrong address and it took over 3 months for me to finally get my package. Second time, I thought I had a good deal on a couple of paintings, turns out I had to pay double because for shipping. Im so fed up with them and I do NOT recommend paintingiant.com.
Paintingiant . com.com is requesting for 50% payment deposit before they will start the reproduction. So, based on their requirement I sent 50% deposit using my paypal account and then I contacted them so they can start my order but they said they did not receive any which is I sent all the proof that the payment has been made. Do not trust this company unless you like giving put your money with no return!
I purchased two paintings at 40% off I chose to have them framed what a mistake! At around $150 each I expected a quality painting and a frame to match , the first painting arrived which was stuck to a peice of card and held in place by metal clips within the frame.The second painting arrived framed as requested with no back board to the frame but brown paper and two felt squares at the bottom of the frame. For the price I paid I would have expected a least a back board to both frames. I will not be using paintingiant.com again .Buyer beware!
I ordered a reproduction from paintingiant.com and after a few weeks I am surprised that my painting delivered here in my house. I am surprised because based on paintingiant.com Standard operation procedure they will send a picture of a painting to you first and for approval. So, they did not do that and the result of the reproduction is kind of a 5-year-old boy who paint it and not by talented artist. I contacted them both email and phone but no one is answering me. Because I am upset with paintingiant.com I moved to handmadepiece.com but I just the same, they send me the paintings without showing me the picture first for approval! Don’t trust this companies if you do not want to lose any $$$
