Pacific Union Financial, LLC. Reviews

This company supposedly bought my mortgage yet I never received documentation. Nor did they change any paperwork at my local government office. I had a house fire at the time I was behind we were told to send the insurance checks along with 4K they would apply the monies and refund the remainder so we could begin repairs. Instead they put the money into what they call a restricted escrow and foreclosed on our home. They even went as far as to submit fake bids to them for the work. They couldn't prove they even had the original note and even after the foreclosure they cashed a partial payment of 697.00 even though they said I didn't own the home. It has to be illegal and they should be shut down

Beware of these people. They are the most dysfunctional group of people I have ever dealt with. They tout their prowess at handling FHA loans, yet they completely screwed up the entire process. I had to continually send then the same documents in order to get approved. I had all the fax confirmation pages, proving I had sent them what they kept requesting. The Loan Officer tells me not to listen to the Loan Processor, the Loan Processor tells me to contact my Loan Officer. Incredible stress and frustration involved all along the way.

Now, Pacific Union Financial has saddled me with a second mortgage payment of $983.21, in addition to my first mortgage payment of $1,456.73.

My second mortgage is a $7,500.00 loan, at 3,375% and is ultimately handled by the State of Minnesota (MHFA). My payment on this is supposed to be $73.73/mo. - not $983.21. Four times I have called Pacific Union, and at first they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Then, they told me they were 'conducting an internal review into the matter'. Then, they told me they had mailed me a letter with the correct monthly payment amount (of $73.73). Not once - but TWICE. Have I ever received any such letter? Of course not. They will not even send me an email confirming the correct payment amount. Now I have to look at hiring an Attorney. For crying out loud.

Stay away from this company. They are like a black hole of incompetence; get too close and you are doomed.
