Sarah Vaughter is an illegal running company and after having reading all the complaints online I have now found out that Sarah Vaughter does not even exist! It is apparently run by a man called Frank De Groot who is mentally unwell. He writes vicious things about customers and posts personal information publically. I purchased from him and after my items didn't arrive he accused me of lying even though I could track that the package had never been sent. I lost $678 in total. He tried to bully me and harass me, threatened to post my credit details if I made any sort of online complaint about him. I can now see others have stood up to him online and he has stolen photos of them. AVOID at all costs! SCAM to get your hard earned money
This crazy company failed to cancel my order. They then charged paypal $34.00 and shipped anyway.
Then she files some kind of "blacklist" report on me with a photo of someone who is supposed to be me but it is not.
This is organized crime and it needs to be stopped. PLEASE stop these crazy people from ripping off US citizens.
Do not buy from this company. The owner is totally CRAZY - insane. The owner will take your order details - name, address and from there search for your other personal details about you, your family and where you work, live, etc. and plaster it all over the internet. That lunatic will then claim you are the crazy one. If you DARE to ask a simple question, your info will be blasted all over the web. Do NOT trust this seller. Buy the Dr. Pen or any other derma needling devices from anyone else - it is cheaper, better product and you will be buying from a normal, stable human being.
Hi, I also had an abysmal experience. The WORST service I have ever had in my entire life; it is literally crazy, If you order, you better not ask anything because you could be just as surprised/shocked as I was. I am glad I can leave a comment about my experience here. Here's my story: I sent an email, politely asked when I would get my order, I got a reply signed "Sarah" not answering my question but instead telling me she didn't want me as a customer... Just because I asked the delivery date ? wow. Does this sound insane? Yes, this is crazy. But fortunately, I kept the emails as a proof.
Moreover, I ordered and tried their most expensive product,"The derminator" and I regret it, I got scars from using it on my forehead. I tried to post this comment on Trustpilot ( I have proofs of everything I m claiming) but they censored my comment because owndoc reported it under fake claims. I ve never seen such a dishonest company.
Horrible!!! DO NOT ORDER !!!.
SCAM ALERT !!!
They never Sent and Item that I had paid for. I Lost $200. I wrote to the company asking for the item to be sent, instead the owner responds to me in threatening and condescending ways. The owner banned me from the website and literally threatened legal action over an item I had paid for and never received.
The owner said I was too "stupid" to use her device. The owner tried to bully me via multiple emails threatening lawsuits if I wrote a bad review. I have never in my life had an online purchase go so poorly. Avoid Owndoc.com and the derminator product like the plague!!
The company has a history of this harrasment and poor customer service. Check out h t t p s : / / o w n d o c s c a m . w o r d p r e s s . c o m / or other website review sites for similar stories.
Sent the wrong item, was asked to send the correct item however received abuse and threatening emails in return. Sarah tried to bribe me and say if I left bad reports anywhere she would put my personal details on the Internet. She them googled my name (thankfully didn't find a photo of me) and used a photo of a girl with the same name as me and said she would put it over the Internet. She accused me of me being a criminal when in fact she is a criminal. I now see she has many bad reviews about her on the Internet. My uncle is now looking into her and finding out she may not even be a women. PayPal have since awarded me a refund after I send them her abusive emails (she is now being investigated due to having so many cases opened on her).
like so many others I too have just recently walked away from the most bizarre and in sane interaction with this company. I have been a reliable and trustworthy customer of theirs for several years now having purchased both the original derminator and receiving for free a second one when the first one started giving me problems. I have never had real issues with the customer service department or Sarah until this last week when she blacklisted me for no reason at all. She accused me of defamation because I felt that her behavior was atrocious and unprofessional when I had several of the derminator cartridges malfunction on me and was concerned because I run a small business and they were coming off onto my clienteles faces. She was quite offended by this and posted me on some sort of reviewer site and blacklisted me for it LOL. I am very happy to be out of doing business with this very unprofessional company there are so many better needling pens and equipment on the market, there's was subpar for sure and is no skin off my back to not have to deal with the crazy behavior with this very unknown company. I'm gladly taking my business elsewhere sorry for anybody else who's had to deal with this insanity!
I ordered some c60 from Vaughter Wellness and after a month still not received anything. Was told to wait another 30 days. I waited patiently. I mean how long does it take to post a parcel from Europe - even with the covid19 delays.
So 65 days later I write to Sarah who is Frank in disguise (weirdo) and get a horrible, disgusting and threatening email back. All I asked for was a) prove you've sent it, ticket no etc or b) if you can't do that, give me a refund. As he did promise 60 days. So I'm well within my rights.
But I was threatened with being blacklisted and words like extortion and criminal and thief thrown at me. Sarah aka Frank said - we will give you a refund after 90 days and because you asked for a refund after 65 days, I'm blacklisting you and if you write a bad review I'll sue you. I have yet to see a refund even though I was promised one. Hopefully credit card co. Will pay me back.
I would recommend to avoid all purchases from Vaughter Wellness, or owndoc.com as they are both Frank the threatener's websites. What a nasty, horrible man. Wow! I'm amazed he's allowed to create a site and blacklist people who didn't receive their products with all their personal information. Shouldn't be allowed with data protection. Someone needs to stop this man from posting personal info and photos of people!
Hi,
I am Sarah Vaughter, founder of owndoc.com.
We are the largest dermaneedling company and have sold to more than 100,000 people over the past eleven years. About one in 700 people ends up publicly blacklisted on ratebuyers.com, as site we have to fight back against people who steal from us or who create fake negative "reviews" on sites such as these, because on review sites it is permitted for "buyers" to make unproven allegations and mention my name and company name, but it is never allowed for us to provide the proof that we're innocent of the charges, because that would name the names of the accusers, and that's always prohibited on review sites.
The owndocscam site was made by Lyle Kindelan, an 88 year old man who recently apologized for making it, in revenge for us exposing the GAPS diet as a scam. He seems unable to remove it.
The claim that we stole $200 is byr Abraham Cho, in revenge for us refunding him and canceling his order and declining to accept further orders from him, accused us of having committed the crime of theft against him. He knowingly falsely claimed that we stole $200 from him. He warned us in advance he would libel us: He said he would smear our reputation on Reddit, Essentialdayspa, Hairlosstalk, Longecity, Acne.org and any other site he could think of, and he said he would have no problem violating the law in doing so. He then proceeded to claim on TrustPilot that we stole $200 from him.
We are such a popular company in the Dermaneedling niche, even though we don't advertise, because of positive word of mouth. We're unique in that we prominently defend ourselves against fraud and defamation, even though this leads to many false claims of "fraud" against us in return. We can affords such false allegations, since we have 100,000 satisfied customers.
