Beware Overstockart are copyright pirates who sell pirated copies of Picasso paintings. To avoid legal problems, if you have bought a Picasso painting from Overstockart then you need to return it to them and ask for a full refund as you do not wish to be party to illegal transactions. If Overstockart will cheat copyright holders then what will they do to their customers?
We recently had two paintings we had seen in a Paris museum reproduced for our office. overstockart.com did not do an excellent job capturing the original images. Of course, we are not talking museum quality copies but we are not happy with the results. They even not adjusted the dimensions so that both paintings turned out to be the same size per our request. Their process is very hard - they will not send you digital images of the copies you can review them and request "tweaks" if needed. I would not recommend their service.
I decided to order a few painting that seemed resonable and perfect for some place of our office I had coming up. The paintings arrived in a timely manner however the quality was poor and was weird... So I went online to look at the return policy and noted that there would be a $55.99 charge for restocking fee per painting....ok fine but when I went to the page to search for my order with the order number and last name...IT SAID COULDN'T FIND ORDER! I tried several times and after no avail...I contacted customer service via live chat. What a joke. I was told to return the item via international return instructions even though I live in the US...and even though it specifically gives other instructions. The rep was rude and was not helpful. Just kept saying that this was the easiest way to return. ..this was the second rep I tried to talk to about the return. ..the other ended the chat without even answering my question. So now what...I have a feeling if I send it back...I will pay the shipping for them to probably tell me that the items can't be returned for some reason like they are final sale like I saw in a few other comments even though they were not advertised as such and I will be looking at them charging me to shop them to me again...I AM SO IRRITATED I AM GOING TO CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. ...I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO OR THEY WILL KEEP TAKING YOUR MONEY AND NOT DELIVERING THE SERVICES THEY ADVERTISE!
Absolutely do not order from overstackart.com. I placed 2 paints, one of them never showed up and the other came with the wrong painting and they have NOT been helpful in fixing the issue. They wanted me to return the incorrect item, get a refund (which I have heard people have had many problems with not getting refunding) and place an entirely new order!!!! When I went to place a new order for my originally item, it was not longer on the website. So sad. So upsetting.
I bought a Thomas Kinkade 30 x 40 inch reproduction from overstockart.com as they advertise that they are '100% handpainted' however when I received it (15 weeks after ordering) it was just a print size 20 x 24 inch on cheap, plastic-like canvas that you can buy for $10 (I paid $300). I sent it back to them in my own cost but stil I did not receive any refund.
I had the 50% code in my checkout, but once I pressed purchase it reverted my amount to the full price. I contacted them within minutes but was told the same thing (that there was nothing they could do and that if I did not need certain items that I should send them back - this was sad to hear because I love everything in my basket and was so excited I was able to afford the paintings. I sincerely hope I do not have to wait months and months to manage the money and these returns for what is so easy for other companies to handle.
I supposed to buy couple of paintings from overstockart.com because I see on their website that they are currently 20% off if you put the code SEP20. Upon checkout, instead you will get 20% OFF they will add additional 20% and I also try another code JOINGIFT20 that is provided on the email if you join the newsletter it’s also not working. Be aware and make sure you check the total before your checkout!
This chinese sweatshop produces very poor quality reproduction paintings and the abusive lying owner tom wang will sell your personal details to spammers. Don't buy from these chinese thieves.
