Please read carefully before agreeing to work with this company and most of all DO NOT give them any billing or credit card information.

Of all the advertising vehicles that I have used to generate business, Outbound Engine, is by far the most expensive and least effective means of advertising EVER! While the overall concept of posting to social media and monthly newsletters are touted by the leading experts in real estate as a "must do" to complete your on-line presence, Outbound Engine is NOT the way to accomplish this. There are far more effective and less expense services out there. In fact I have found a few that will help you post to social media at no cost to you.

After several months of trying Outbound Engines services, I found that they did absolutely nothing to retain or stimulate business. They even ran a quarterly campaign offering a $500 Visa gift card if someone posted a review. Not one taker. The reviews they posted on my behalf came from Zillow and my clients posted these reviews based on their experience with me. I did not ask for a single review and I never paid for one. So offering $500 was ineffective. Basically, Outbound Engine couldn't PAY someone to write a review. In addition, their self-reported metrics is proof positive that the service does not work. In fact, when I called to inquire about this they told me that I was doing well! I asked them, "Compared to what, your other poorly performing accounts?! This service really is a waste of money.

Here's the thing, after giving the service some time to see if the metrics would improve and careful review, I called them to cancel. They informed me when I started the service that there would be no repercussions if I decided to cancel. After caring for a sick relative for 2 months and a month of personal illness, I was forced to look at my expenses. This service had to go. I simply could not afford it especially since it did not drive business. I emailed them, followed all of their steps for cancellation and was immediatly contacted by this insanely hostile individual named Brittany who basically screamed at me and told me that I was NOT going to cancel and that I "needed" the service in order to remain successful in my business. I told that I could not afford it and that their service did not work and she continued to scream at me. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she left the line for breif moment only to come back and offer me a "deal" for free service for a few months. I declined and emailed support again to inform them that I don't want the service. However, once quick to respond ,the support desk has stopped responding altogether.

WARNING: This service is not going to give you any additional business. It is far too expensive for what they offer. Believe me there are far more effective and less expensive (free) ways to get more business. Don't work with this company. You will be sorely disappointed and abused when you try to cancel. You have been warned.

Had I Googked Outbiund Engine....I never would have given them my information.

They called me forever and forever so I finally signed up with them with the understanding that if it didn't work, they would quit charging my card......Well. Big mistake and when I saw their services weren't working, I asked them nicely to quit charging my credit card and this barracuda named Brittni started screaming at me.. I work very hard to keep peace in my life and when I tried to reason with her it escalated ..Brittni would call and call and harass me.i would have to hang up on her and she would call right back like a rabid dog. I asked her to quit calling me ... I called my credit card company to complain about Outbound Engine. They took the charge off but the next month it would be back on. Unless you want to be treated wors than stray dog.....I would stay away from Outbound Engine... I saw No benefit from the 8 months of their service all. I can find much better ways to spend my money...

Signed up with this company in June of 2016 on their Value Plan to help with social media marketing for my mortgage business. The initial calls were great as they were trying to have me buy their product, but as soon as I signed up it was all downhill after that.

First, I waited almost two weeks to have my initial "setup" call so I can finally start using the service I had been paying for. When I finally received that call, it was less of a "setup" call and more of a sales call to try and have me upgrade to their Premium plan which includes reviews. The caller started off being nice, but when she asked me to upgrade I politely said I wanted to try the service as it was before upgrading to anything else, her tone completely changed, rushed through the rest of the call and couldn't wait to get off the phone with me, meanwhile I still had questions on how to fully set up my account... of course never heard from her again. I played around with the system enough and figured out how to use it myself, tried the service for two months, and realized that the content they were sending out was not relevant.

I called back to cancel in August, and their main response was that I signed up for a 12 month contract... mind you, never during any of our conversations was there any talk about being locked into any type of contract, let alone for 12 months. I was led to believe this was a month to month service that just required a 30 day cancellation notice. I would have never signed up for a 12 month contract for a service that I had no way of knowing if it would work or not. All they ever said during the initial sales calls was that they prefer you stay with them for at least 12 months to get the full benefits, but that's it, nothing about a contract! But apparently it's hidden somewhere in fine print, so you have to analyze one of the many documents they send you line by line so you can find it, and with that their claim is that "well, you signed the contract". Very unethical to say the least.

Even with all that aside, one of their reps said maybe the problem was that the campaign they had me on (Real Estate) wasn't as fitting for my business, and that maybe the Financial Adviser campaign would be more relevant. At this point I still wanted to cancel, and even though I hated the way they went about it, I was willing to pay the cancellation fee to be done with them. The guy said that it's worth a shot to at least try and match the campaigns with more relevant content, and that if it still wasn't relevant I could cancel, with no other fees involved. I decided to give it a shot, and after another 6 months, content still was not relevant and I was not getting any type of results that I was looking for.

I called to cancel it again in February, and of course they went back to the same story of "you signed a 12 month contract". I told them what happened back in August and how I had experienced problems before and was told if I didn't like it I could cancel at any time, but the only thing their rep knew to do is keep referring to a sales script that more or less said "you signed the contract, so you're screwed". I asked them to go back and check the call recordings so they can see what the previous rep said, and they got back to me saying that it wasn't true and of course that "you sighed the contract". I asked to get a copy of the call recordings and of course they said they are not able to provide me with the call recordings, so it's basically their word against mine.

So after 8 months of paying for a service that did not benefit me, they still had me pay a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the remaining term. This isn't about the money for me, I'm happy to pay the cancellation fee to finally be done with them. It's about the principal of how they choose to do business. This company has questionable morals and unethical sales tactics, and their service does not do what they promise it does. The only customers that were responding to their ads and emails were customers that I was already in the process of working with and thought I was sending them notices that had to do with their file currently in progress. I did not receive even one additional deal from any of their efforts!

Do yourself a favor and do not give this company your time or your money, as they will waste both!

I signed on with Outbound engine in November of 2015. I was promised a $100.00 visa card that I never received. Email line from outbound:You will be grandfathered in at the Value package for the cost of $159/mo. The $149 one time set up fee will be waived. The cost today is $258.00 which includes your monthly fee and the 1 time on-boarding fee of $99.00 I will also include a Visa gift card for $100 for you from me. The Inman Article is attached in a PDF for you. Talk soon, I have not heard from them about my results or have they bothered to return my emails. My email dated 3/2/2016. I have not received one referral or lead or whatever they choose to call it. I have only heard from them recently when I sent an email to tell them I need to cancel my service. When I spoke to the girl on the phone she was very rude and would not let me finish any of my sentences. She just kept repeating herself and telling me how the system works and I tried to tell her how the system was not working. I have the emails listed above and their response. Which was no response.

Please do not use these guys.

I signed up for Outboard Engine on Sept. 14th and experienced nothing by mis-information from them after that. Employees would argue that what they were sending out was not going into people's spam folders. I offered to send them proof in the form of client communications and photos...they declined and insisted it wasn't happening. (just one of the issues)

I started actively trying to cancel the service on October 5th with multiple calls. I spoke with Lucas, Toni-Ann, Ben multiple times and each have refused to cancel the service. Ben even argued that "not all clients were eligible for the cancelation." They all keep repeating this mantra ...."you just need to let the system work for you. Stick with it longer".

THEY ARE CRAZY and will not cancel!

I initially received a call from a rep at Outbound Engine touting their services and requesting an appointment to demonstrate them to me. I am very busy, but she was very aggresssive and pushy, so I agreed to an appointment in several days, since I just had a cancellation and had a spot open in my calendar.

the day arrived and I was at my computer as requested, and she simply blew it off. She contacted me later and requested another shot, but I was very booked ant told her to call me back in July. I guess July was too long for her to wait, and she continued to pester and pressure me. Finally I told her to go away.

Another rep called me and apologized and said he could set something up for July. I agreed. He kept his appointment and started his demo. I quickly realized that at this time it would probably not be a good fit. I told him to jump to the cost: the "small" package starts at $199....PER MONTH!...and would go up to $499.00. I told him that given my situation at this time, it would probably not be worth it to me. At this point a supervisor cuts in and says: "f*ck this guy. He's not going to buy. F*ck him and hang up!"

Really? I was going to tell him to check back with me in a few months since I am starting a new marketing campaign and might be able to use him in a few months. Forget it! These people are pushy salemen, eager to make a sale at any cost with no regard to misrepresentation (see many other reviews) or their client's needs. It's all about making a sale at any cost.

In their words: "F*ck 'em"
