The worst! I hired Osbuilt for a decent size job, all cash job. They said they would arrive at 7am every morning after the first day they arrived around 9am for a week then it was 11 and 12pm until it got to 3pm. I told them they need to start earlier. I get home from work at 3pm when they were showing up believe it or not this was the least of the issue. I paid cash 90% off the job, my bad! they stopped coming, didn't answer text or calls etc.. it has been miserable. After two weeks of no contact from them we changed our locks and gated up our backyard. When we hired Jeremy he said this was an 6 to 8 week project, of course thinking it would take longer it typically does this is not my first rodeo.
When we changed our locks it had been 17 weeks. While in AZ he finally reaches out " I want to finish the job and he was sorry" first time I heard him say that. We set up a meeting not agreeing to hire him back but to hear him out and set expectations for the last 10% of the job which was about a week of 8 hour days, in the mean time he asked if we can let him into our backyard to collect some things he left that he needed for a job. Instead of being a bit & $ I agreed to have my son unlock the gate while we were away and lock it back up when they were done. I confirmed Sunday for the 6pm meeting and I got a text right back which had me hopeful, he never texted back.
6pm came and went, he didn't answer my calls or texts-what a coward. George and I had to hire someone to fix the wood floors plus order more flooring which by the way is back ordered until end of June. We have to hire someone to fix the cement stairs and the chunks. We hired someone to finish everything left including all the siding in the backyard and paint plus all the finishing touches that were left. He took my best hose and nozzle which his father confirmed and said he will try to get it back to me.
