We are an offshore center in the Philippines, Quincy Toston owner of ORW hired my team, 3 of them assisting him with his real estate business. We went to a training with him, just to accommodate him we agreed on training without pay because he said he will not be paying anything as we don't know how to proceed with his business.
This isn't usual for a client to pay training is not paid but since we badly need a client we agree and proceeded training with him. After 3 weeks or a month of working for him which he tagged a training phase we have agreed that we will now start the hourly rate of $3 per hour per agent and I have 3.
Worked from June 3 to June 7 he should be paying our team $350 worked for 8 hrs per agent, he was able to settle it June 17, next invoice wasJUne 10 to June 21 , 2 weeks work $720 and June 24 to July 05 2 weeks work another $720 and till not paid.
He said he has having financial issues and we extended and finally decided to just pause until the time he would be able to settle $1080 (full payment). he paid $200 and still have a balance of $880 and his not willing to pay anymore.
Now it has been 4 months of him not paying and worst part of it he said he will no longer pay contradicting to his statement of we will pay we just need time. People like him who hire people from Philippines should still be paid correctly. He didnt even ask us to sign w8 form, but we have been reconsidering him because we need his campaign for us to earn.
Somebody from the USA should still be able to help us from the Philippines from a client like him. We played a big part in helping their business and lessen their stress, this person should be call out for his action.
