I will keep this as short as possible. October 2017 around 7:20 PM I was at The apartment to speak with the landlord as to why he changed locks and why is effecting me. Joseph Cox the landlord is about 82 years old as I was speaking with him I was standing outside in the rain next to Joseph Cox who was seated in the driver seat of his tan four-door 735 BMW with the car running. I had to walk away for a moment to tell the dogs who were in my friends car to try to be quiet because they were barking very loud as I walked back to continue speaking with the landlord he hit the gas pedal and then the brakes three times in a row then he sped away, leaving me laying on the blacktop driveway my friend and I quickly called the police. The police arrived quickly as well as an ambulance. The ambulance took me to the hospital to get checked out because the landlord struck me three times and the third time he hit the brakes so hard I went flying on the concrete. The only injuries I suffered where are bumps and bruises and now I get migraines about once or twice a week. The police took a report from myself my friend and the downstairs neighbor who claims he saw the whole thing but there's no way because there was a large SUV obstructing his view as well as a large tree obstructing his view and at night, after he works, he is always drunk and high on pain pills. The police eventually found Joseph Cox the landlord I don't know where but he said he doesn't know anything about himself striking me with his car. And because I was taken away in an ambulance I left my SUV at the apartment and Joseph Cox the landlord lied to the police and said there was an eviction notice as of October 1, 2017 which is false there was never any real legal evection filed with the sheriffs. Joseph Cox the landlord told police to tow my car police didn't check to see if there really was a legal evection the police allowed Joseph Cox to have my car towed while my name is on the lease to the apartment. About a week or two later my friend that was living with me in the apartment whose name is also on the lease received a text message from the landlord gloating about how cool it was to hit me with his car. I thought for sure the police would've done something but they did nothing. Joseph Cox also took all my furniture put it outside in the backyard of the apartment covered it with a couple of tarps and let it sit there all winter, most of it is damaged beyond repair the police will not give me the police report to that incident and absolutely nothing happened to Joseph Cox.
I have evidence of the text messages I have videos I have photos I have documents from the ambulance receipt for towing of my car for no reason because the police did not do the work to check to see if there really was an eviction. If there is an attorney out there that would like to help me and represent me please contact me! I am a college student I do not have money for a retainer this whole situation in my opinion is pretty black-and-white cut and dry.
