It's funny seeing so many issues with this company so I wiil add mine. It is true, they call you pretending to be from microsoft and then explain how "sic" your computer is. Then show you a chart off things that are running and that have stopped, telling you that if this continues, your computer will crash and all will be lost. That's scary! So, to fix this you can choose a level of service which at $300 will cover you for life. OK. Then I start getting strange calls from other parties wanting to refund my money if you let them in your computer to put in back in your account. I've never heard of a refund like that. I contacted them and they did say it was not them, and not to entertain such calls. I even got a special code to identify them. They were helpful with computer issues like preferences and settings. I just got Windows 10 and found it "different". My issue with them is after five months, they call me telling of the same problems I was having before. So, I said "fix it" thinking my lifetime service should cover that. Oh no, this is your drivers and some corrupted software and that is an extra $220. I reluctantly said ok. That's when I started looking into this company. Not good. I put a stop on that check and consider myself done with them and am out $300. I'll have to go to the "geeks" and have them check for anything that could be in there. Setting up service with them will cost the $200 sum dollars but at least I can trust them. I hope. R
Remember,"caveat emptor" for you legal ones and for everyone else "Let the buyer beware". What they are doing is not illegal, just unethical. I have no time or reason to deal with this and you don't either!

The first time I called for assistance was on 12/29/2017. They claimed they were from Microsoft and cleaned the computer. Today they were going to have a tech call. This company preys on the elderly. My 80 year old mother received a pop up "warning" on her computer that it was infected and to call this number. They talked her into letting them basically invade her computer and take it over, and then pay $599 for a 5 year "protection plan." They don't take credit cards, only checks, which they have the victim put on their scanner so they can "scan" it to them. Fortunately the account my mom used doesn't have much money in it, and she doesn't do any banking on this computer. When you Google the company they have lots of fake BBB reviews and such, this is the only site where I saw an actual complaint about what they are doing.
A white screen with a loud buzzer noise appears on computer. There is a number to call. Man claimed to be a Microsoft technician. He gets inside your computer controls & "shows" you the viruses that are on your computer. It has to be a fake screen they project.

A guy named "Harry Parker" claims to be a diagnostic expert from Microsoft. The number is 1-844-536-3357. Extension 1101. 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST. They gave me customer ID #ID-CX-7978. This occurred on September 8, 2017.
I closed my bank account on Sept. 11, 2017. They called the next day - about 40 times within about 2 hours. I answered the first time to tell them they wouldn't get my money because they're scammers. Harry got mad & threatened me with a lawyer.
