I enrolled in the Opinion Outpost program where you take surveys that they provide and copensate you for surveys compeleted.
I successfully completed numerous surveys on their website and earned points for completing those surveys. Without warning and without explaining the reason , my account was suspended by Opinion Outpost. The only explantion they offered was, according to the following quote from their email to me was "We do apologize for the inconvenience but we took the aforementioned action( suspending my account ) after reviewing the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity". I requested clarification as to what that statement meant but have not recieved an answer as of today.
All of the information I provided in the surveys was truthful and accurate and their action amounts to theft of services. I followed their instructions explicitly and never recieved a warning as to how I was performing or direction from them to do something other than what I was doing. I am sure they provided my answers to their customers and I am only looking for the compensation I earned.

I cannot believe what is happening. I am a 30 year old white woman who works in H/R. Because I am going on a medical leave soon I thought it would be good to make some extra money. I found out about this no good company on YouTube. It took me 3 months before I did my first survey. I completed a lot of very "LONG” noisy surveys. Very long. I decided to try to cash out when I got to 100 points and my account was frozen. I cannot understand why? I left 5 messages and emailed about 15 times various people. No success. This is ridiculous. My next. Step is to file a class action lawsuit. I actually work in a law firm and talked to a couple of attorneys. One is going to take the case. I cannot believe I did not first look on the internet to see how crooked this company is. Taking advantage of little people. No more. No more. They will not get my $10.00 and my free opinion. Not me. I am also going to go a YouTube video telling people how ridiculous this company is.

Tried e-mailing support and no answer. Stay away from this scam company.

This worked for me for a couple of years, but then out of the blue, when I was trying to cash out, they said that my account was frozen due to data concerns, in other words, I had violated their TOS. Really? I'm a 75 year old woman, and not into playing games or lying, especially where money is involved. I answered their question honestly and to the best of my ability. My several requests as to just what I had done fell on deaf ears. From what I have read of others that have been ripped off, it may have been because I had reached a certain amount of money they set to determine who to kick out of the program. They are so bad that Kim Kom Komando no longer recommends them for work at home oppoutunities, which is where originally heard about them.
Another complaint is that every once in a while you would get a survey that took several minutes, with several questions about different products you bought and then they would say you didn't "qualify" for their survey. Or my favorite - it starts out like an innocent survey on everyday products, then turns into a survey about politics. Hahaha.
Stay away from this company, because eventually they will do to you what they have done to hundreds of others.

This was helping us out as well because being both unemployed but looking for work, we needed gas money or just daily things. I even paid a couple bills with this income.
Then one night after claiming 10 dollars for Paypal which I always did, I went to log back in to see if there were new surveys up and they had frozen my account due to "data concerns." I freaked out, was highly upset and contacted their support. I heard nothing until I went to Facebook and found their FB page and posted there.
I told what happened and was left with a canned response message stating, "We will investigate into this matter and within 1-2 business days contact you back with our decision." Decision about what? I did nothing wrong.
I had my account tied to a Verified Paypal account that I have used for 5 years now. Another person in my household also got their account frozen that was using that Paypal account.
Thing is in their TOS, it says nothing about having to use separate Paypal accounts. It also says you are allowed to have more than one account per household. I have been going back and forth with them over a week and then I get a message sent to me on Facebook messenger. It was yet another canned response message stating that its all under investigation.
However, I cant reply to this message because when i go to send a message back it fails everytime. I go to their FB page and try to leave a reply back there and see that I have been blocked. All my comments have been removed and I can no longer comment to anything there.
During this time, I reported them to the BBB in Utah where their main company location is stationed. The BBB will do nothing against this company. Opinion Outpost told the BBB that I had 2 accounts that was in violation so they would NOT give me my account back and the BBB dropped it. They don't want to fool with this, however I will not lay down so easily.

This site is nothing but shady crooks. They will not tell you the reasons why they are freezing your account. You are basically out of luck there. BBB will do nothing against them. I went that route so I came here.

We were doing nothing but making your company more money and for some unseen reason, you don't want to make money. You want to screw people over and give your company a bad name. I think I made a little over 100 dollars with this site. Swagbucks is the best survey site there is out there. I have NEVER had a single problem with them that they didn't fix immediately or make right somehow in some fashion.

Their customer support is terrible. If you contact them, you MIGHT hear back from them in about four days. Then again, you might NEVER hear back from them. I had legit problems with the surveys bugging out and not giving me the amounts that I was entitled to, I would contact someone and never hear back. I think I did finally get ahold of one person, they did credit me but that was the only time I ever heard back from anyone.
This site is a joke. Steer clear of Opinion Outpost. I wish that I did, I wasted alot of time and effort in this site and can't get that time back. I did make some money, I wanted to make more. I was trying my best to make enough money so when I started work I wouldn't have to worry until I got paid. They shot that dream in the head with a loaded pistol. Opinion Outpost has begun an assault on all it's survey takers as of 2017. I've been RIPPED OFF by them as of May 2017. Many, many complaints are appearing on websites from people who've been victimized by this company just in the past month. The BBB has 100% complaints about them as of 6/2/2017.
They "Freeze You Out" of your account for reasons they never explain. Thereby not letting you redeem the money you've earned from them for completing their surveys. This company WILL rip you off. Please don't fall for this scam.
After Being a member of Opion Outpost since 2009 i was terminated today for no reason. i had over $15 and i can no longer get the money that i well earned. I called because it said data concerns when i tried to login but instead they decided to terminate me instead and they will not reactivate my account. They said that i violated there terms but didn't say what i violated. they are having scams against them but they are the ones scamming you out of your time and hard earned money. They used to be my go to site in the beginning but after all this they have gone down hill greatly. they are not like they used to be. My Advice Beware and Run as fast as you Can From Opinion Outpost!!!! Dont want you to get scammed out of your hard earned time and money that you make.
