I went online to retrieve a criminal background report online at onlinereportaccess.com to use in court against someone. The website stated that it would only cost a dollar for the single report and that they had found one record regarding the individual. After my payment was accepted they charged me $20 and then an additional dollar to view the report. Not to mention when I viewed the report they magically couldn't find the information that they stated previously they had found. This page is nothing but a scam. After they recieved your card information they only take money off of it and show no results for what you have paid for.
Used this website to lookup my cars history report and soon caught on that it was a scam but only after I put my card information in. They took the $1 that was advertised. But they also took out a $18.00 hold. I would like my money back.
This company promises information about real estate property. Thet offered a one time report for $1. That report gave no information other than a notation of value from Zillow. I even used their online chat to ask if by doing this search I was going to be charged a monthly fee. I was assured that I would not be charged anything other than the $1. Then when I saw the worthless report and did the online chat again, I was told that I would be charged $18.95 on September 2nd. I told them to cancel that order. The operator said that she would cancel and credit the $1 also. That is the only good thing I have to say about this transaction, if they do in fact follow through with this promise. It may take a little more digging, but I will go back to finding information through more reliable sources like Zillow and state, county and local property records. I would advise anyone to stay away from companies that say they will not charge a monthly fee for a service but in fact does. I think there's a word for it.....fraud comes to mind.
