On November 09, 2018, One Shot Movers provided me an estimate with total of $3,395.04 they required 70% payment upfront. On 12 November 2018, the movers came with the actual amount of $5,870.00. The moving foreman said to call the office and speak with the manager since he has no authority to make changes, I do not agree with this price. They low bid this estimate and they increased the price on-site. The total they wanted me to pay upfront is $4,118.90 which they required 70% payment and since I did not have enough money upfront they called and called until I paid them 70%.
I do not agree with this price of luring customer in with low prices and increasing it on-site. In addition to this, last week on 19 November 2018, I have requested for a status on my home good to be delivered they tell me they will call me back and then they never call. When I try to call them back later they do not answer. On 21 November 2018, I call back and they do not answer. I continue to call and finally they tell me they will call me back to let me know the status. In addition to increased pricing, they are a disorganized company that does not know the status of my high priced shipment of my household goods.
On 26 November 2018, They are still at lost with my household good shipment and again they said they will call me back. This time I complained about the pricing and he says all customers will have an increase in price on-site and there is nothing he can do about it. Tim from One Shot Movers has no information of my household goods and they charged a high price. This company never return calls it is difficult to get in communications with them, lousy customer service. They should not be in business.
