I am saddended that I did not see all of these horrible reviews before I ordered. I ususally do not waste my time leaving a review-and going through all of these steps and giving out my personal email, but if it will help another mom NOT order a cute care package that is just FALSE then I have done my part. I ordered a cute package (I thought) to be delivered to my daughters Dorm Room over a month ago-and still nothing. When you call or email this company you NEVER EVER NEVER EVER get a hold of anyone-it puts you on HOLD. I waited over an hour one time.
The best way to try and get through it press that you are placing a NEW order, b/c they may pick up. This is a scam on the baskets! DO NOT ORDER from this comapny. It is heart breaking when your kids go to school and to have to deal with this is just ridiculous.
What is crazy is that this company has great advertising that looks legit. I have received cards from what even appears to be coming from her college, Baylor University. Baylor says they are an independent company.
I could go on and on-but with all of these horrible complaints, please go make your own packages and mail to your child! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Colleges, Universities and book stores contract with this company to provide care packages to students; i.e. a parent signs up and pays money for this company to deliver care packages at certain times throughout the school year, such as a Welcome package, a care package during finals, a Halloween package, etc.
I signed my student up to receive over $130 worth of care packages -- the company cashed my check but has no "record" of my order form. I've called this company four times, called Barnes and Noble (who sponsors this company on my child's university campus) four times, and cannot get anyone to assist me! Basically, this company has stolen my $130 and I have nothing to show for it.
