We contracted a tech from this outfit ( On Call Service Group LLC) by the name of Hector Fabela Jr. While on-site it was decided that new parts would be needed for the computer. Hector Fabela Jr obtained the parts and instead of giving them directly to the customer and having customer pay for the parts he charged us.
We told him that’s fine , but that’s not following our protocol because if we charge customer for parts that we have never seen and only you know the quality and function of said parts , we will have to make sure the parts work and are in fact the correct parts after you have installed them and customer has had time to check and make sure all is working correctly.
Reason why we prefer techs to charge the customer directly for parts instead of charging us and us having to charge the customer , if later a chargeback occurs because parts are faulty , we take 100% of the blame on parts they we were never able to physically inspect ourselves.
We pay tech the entirety of the money owed to him 30 days later , labor and parts. End of story all is well right ? No . This vindictive tech , Hector Fabela Jr then threatens us by telling us because we made him wait 30 days to pay him , he is going to bad mouth us to everyone in his town and " make sure that no one ever hires us again ".
Then he goes on to give us a 1 star rating! Has anyone reading this ever had a situation where you pay what’s owed , you give the contractor 5 stars as we did , and then because he had to wait to make sure your customer was truly satisfied with the work and parts sold, the person you contracted then turns around and threatens you and gives you a 1 star rating just because he had to WAIT 30 days to make sure the customer is satisfied?
He did this AFTER you have paid him in full ! What a vindictive person ! Just remember this about Hector Fabela Jr and this company when you contract or hire them.
