Olympia Law Group Reviews

I reached out to Olympia Law Group to assist me with a loan modification, Monica Davis was assigned to my case. I explained to Monica Davis that I had recently received a modification. Monica Davis informed me that because of the HAMP ACT it did not matter. I informed her that I had never heard of that. She had me to go to the website while she was on the phone to read what the program was about. Monica Davis said the deadline was approaching and that we needed to move fast if I was going to sign up.

Monica Davis said that they could help me. She explained that the payments would be $975.00 x 4 to get me signed up. I asked her if I should make payments to them or my mortgage company? Her response was make them to Olympia Law Group. I mentioned to her on several ocassions that I had received a loan modification before. I even mentioned to her that I had a previous bankruptcy. I asked her if that mattered, she said no.

I reached out to Monica Davis often to see if there was any updates. Her response was it takes time. I was also in contact with my mortgage company to see if anything was going on. In May, the mortgage company informed me that the loan had been denied and Olympia Law group had been informed. It had been approximately a week since the decision was made. I reached out to Monica Davis who told me to contact Dalila Martinez. I informed Dalila Martinez what the mortgage company told me. She said she was not aware of it. She got back with me after several days to confirm that it had been denied. I asked her what were my options after that? She informed me that Sam Branco would get in touch with me regarding my options. I have nerver heard from him.

I then reached out to Monica Davis to tell her that no one had been able to help me. She said once I received the denial letter, we could file an appeal. I asked her what difference would that make? Her response was basically it depends on "what side of the bed" the next person handling the case woke up on. I reached out to the mortgage company to inquire about the appeals process, I was told there wasn't an appeal available. I ask why? I was told that because I had a loan modification that was less than 24 months old, I did not qualify.

After learning I would not get a loan modification and that my home would go into foreclosure, I began to have suicidal thoughts. I reached out to Monica Davis several times to explain to her the physical and mental toll this was taking on me. After comptemplating sucide, I decided to reach out to someone to help me. I was given some money but was still $1200.00 short. I reached out to Monica Davis to ask them to refund my money($2925.00) so that I could add it to the money I was given so that I could make the payments. She said ok and I should receive it the Tuesday after Memeoial Day.

I called and email Monica Davis several times regarding the refund, she said I should have gotten it already. After I explained to her that I had not received it, she said she was going to reach out to management. That was in May, I have not heard from her again.

This scam law group has changed its name from Olympia Law Group, and has stolen $3,000 from me without consent and failed to provide any service. Around February 2, 2018, I received an email from a Bianca Campos who said she was responding to my request for information (her number is 213-835-1919). I then dealt with a James Montez, who was allegedly a Senior Case Manager (number is 213-835-1915), who gathered information about me including the fact I was a DISABLED COMBAT VETERAN pending medical retirement from the Marine Corps who needed help with predatory lending from my mortgage company. He crafted a contract and told me I would be charged a retainer of $3,000 in 4 payments of $750 starting in the month of March from my checking account. Shortly after signing the agreement I realized that James Montez and the other reps continued to ask for the same information again and again, despite my having sent it multiple times. On February 28th I sent a text to the admin rep cancelling services, where they claimed I would have my retainer returned. I contacted them again on April 12 in an emailed to James Montez and again informed him I had cancelled services, he never responded. May 8th I reconfirmed I had cancelled and wanted a refund, and he still did not respond. This company has stolen money electronically after written proof of cancelled services. They have provided NO services and the intake paperwork was not even completed, so they cannot attempt to feign working for me. This company is illegally exploiting and targeting disabled service members in order to profit of of their disabilities.

I respnded to Olympia Law Group's request to assist me in obtaining a loan modification for my mortgage from: Rushmore Loan Management. I was contacted by: Jonathan Hayes, a Senior Processor. He informed me his law firm would need a fee of: $950.00 to begin the process of assisting me. The debit took place on: Dec. 9, 2017. However, the law firm informed me nothing would be done outside gathering my documents to submit to Rushmore until the new year. Due to the slow process of their actions, I requested to cancel my partnership with Olypia Law Firm. Jonathan informed me that a cancellation letter would be emailed to me to sign. I signed and emailed the document back on: Dec. 16, 2017. Jonathan Hayes informed me that the refund process would be generally a 3 day process.

In retrospect, I have contacted him on several occassions; and he informed me that the accounting department would address this issue. He also stated that he had contacted this department on my behalf however, as of Jan. 10, 2018, I have not received my refund as of yet. it is imperative that I recieve my refund. I have hired another Law Firm to assist me. I am retired, and on a fixed income. i need my funding asap! This law firm lacks credibility. They have prolonged this refund for no apparent reason. The accounting department, as well as Jonathan, stated that my refund would come into fruition soon. This is an unfortunate matter that I would like to resolve. Your assistance would be appreciated greatly! Thanks in advance.

I have not only been scammed by this company and had to stop all charges on my bank account and change it, after a month of trying to get THEM to refund my deposit just DAYS after I hired them... but they managed to find my NEW bank account and charge me again... I have filed every single legal document on my own for the past TEN years...... which they reportedly were supposed to do.... but they do NOT provide you with an actual local attorney...... they just simply TELL you what to do.... which is exactly what I have been doing for ten years ALONE.... I don't need to PAY someone to tell me what to do.. I needed representation in court.... I have already reported them to the FBI Financial Crimes Units.... not only in my area (the northeast) but Nationwide....... do NOT waste one minute on the phone with them.... it's a complete wast of time and money.........

Nick Benson is a pathetic joke and God forgive me .... but his name should be tarnished and he should never be employed by any legal or financial corporation.... he should feel blessed to get a job at McDonalds........

Olympia law was suppose to get our mortgage payments reduced to $899.00 with a lower interest. They told us to continue living in our house, knowing that foreclosure was coming on October 4th. We were told by our mortgage company we had until September 30th to get out of our house. We got a letter from the attorney for the mortgage company telling us if were not out by the 30th they would lock the doors and have a sheriff escort us off the property. We called Olympia Law, told them what the attorney said and again, they said for us to stay in our home. We started looking for a house to rent. We found one, but we still have furniture in the house. I called Olympia Law and told them the mortgage company locked the doors. They said they couldn't do that and for us to stay in our house. I told Monica we were locked out, and how were we suppose to stay in a house with the doors locked. I called our mortgage company and they had not talked to Olympia Law at all. So they got our money and have not done anything to help us keep our house. They scammed us out of our money and did nothing they said they were going to do..

Olympia Law Group. SCAM! Attorneys under investigation by the State Bar of California

Beware, BE CAREFUL, These scumbags will soon be taken down by the California State Bar, who is investigating and taken legal action against the shady owners: Matin Rajabov Attorney Bar #265885. 12/26/2019 Disciplinary charges filed in State Bar Court 19-O-30721.

Also charged in this Scam ring is their second attorney: Safora Nowrouzi Attorney Bar #320878 2/18/2020 Disciplinary charges filed in State Bar Court 20-O-30019.

Law firm practices illegal foreclosure prevention services. Up front fees, no results, practicing law in states with no local attorney or respect to those states' local laws.

They took $5000 from my elderly family, and because of these dirtbags they lost their home. Their polite requests for a refund ignored. Google this company and you will see hundreds of complaints on the BBB, on google, on ScamGaurd, on all websites including this one.

DO NOT FALL PREY TO ANYONE at Olympia Law Group.

They have stolen from thousands and will soon be in handcuffs.

Scammers, thieves. They prey on people that feel like they have no other options. I have learned that any company that requires monies up front that should be a red flag for you! don't fall for smooth talk or promises. From jason to dahila and one of the "manager" jon, in my opinion they should be arrested. So again, use your own mortgage company for modification at no cost to you, again can not say it enough, they should be arrested and closed down. Buyer beware

I hired Olympia Law Group to negotiate a lower mortgage payment. I told them I had previously filed but the payment was still too high. I was told they would negotiate a much lower payment, lower my interest by 2% points and get the arrears partly written off. I provided all of the paperwork within 24 hours of it being requested.

I was told I needed to be residing in the home by 8/01/2019 since I was currently living in an apartment. Olympia Law Group filed my application for mortgage assistance the end of June, 2019. It was rejected immediately because I was not residing in the home. I checked the status of my case on the Olympia website. I saw it stated denied as of 7/03/2019.

I contacted various people at Olympia both by phone and email with no response until 7/11/2019. I was told my options were bankruptcy, sell the property, etc. and had until 7/15/2019 to provide an answer. It was all sent by email. I contacted the mortgage company myself. I was told I was denied immediately because I was not residing in the home.

I was further told the attorney's know this and do not tell their clients all the time and then they are rejected. The mortgage assistance is a federal program and it requires you reside in the home when applying. I then asked Olympia Law for a refund of payments 2 and 3 stating I would not pay the 4th payment. I told them to keep the 1st payment since they did submit an application.

However, there is nothing they did I had not already done and it did not cost me $2250. Olympia Law Group was negligent by not telling me to be residing in the home sooner or waiting to file the application until I was residing in the home. They further would not return my calls or emails giving me only 4 days to make a decision about next steps. I had to sell my home.

The email sent to me by Jonathan when I was waivering whether to hire their firm or not.

Subject: RE: Cancel

Hi Amy,

You have been speaking with Travis regarding your mortgage with Carrington. Please let us know if we are not moving forward with the legal submission process to getting your mortgage restructured. If you are not moving forward with the process we need to cancel your retainer and close your file. The compliance attorney does not want to leave your inquiry open any longer without any work being done on your file due to the foreclosure status and projected future sale date.

Remember to be careful with your servicer when you try to get a modification as they generally bring people on a run around and request document after document from you telling you to keep sending in more documents and having you speak to a number of different people leading you to believe like they will work with you only to have you fall farther behind and then tell you they can’t help you and foreclose on the property or force your into a bankruptcy.

I will assume you have resolved your situation and are not moving forward with the legal submission process to getting your mortgage restructured if we do not hear back from you by the end of the business day Monday (4/15). Hopefully the legal submission was fully explained to you and you fully understand how the legal submission process works in terms of how the case law is applied through the submission.

If you have further questions feel free to call or email. Keep in mind if you do not take “specific” action against the bank servicer through their legal department your mortgage will not be able to be restructured. Unfortunately you will not receive a fair loan modification through the loss mitigation department of the bank and you will not be able to get your mortgage restructured unless you obtain representation.

Best of luck resolving everything in your favor if we are not assisting you and be very careful relying on what the bank servicer tells you because I have seen a number of home owners lose their property doing this or get forced into filing a full Chaper 13 Bankruptcy and then lose the property anyway in the bankruptcy! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A IN LISCNENSED ATTORNEY. Thanks Amy!

Make sure you are looking at the correct Olympia (there are a few) because we are an accredited law firm with an B+ rating with the BBB and mostly every review on our firm is positive. Keep in mind we help over 2000 home owners get their mortgage restructured and out of foreclosure each year through this process and we obviously can’t help everyone. In over 10,000 clients we have less than 30 complaints on the BBB. Make sure you have the correct firm because most likely you do not as we have an B+ Rating and over 70% of our reviews are positive which is extremely hard to come by in our industry. Also check the direct link below to the IN state Bar site for the attorneys page.

We can still cancel your file but we wanted you to know the facts before you did so. Whomever helps you make sure they either file a law suit against the servicer or do a legal submission. Apart from these options you will not be able to get this out of foreclosure unless you have the full amount to reinstate the loan. Please sign the cancellation in the event that you are cancelling as we have a signed retainer from you Good luck!!

I got a call from Olympia Law Group one day. I asked them how they had my number and they said US Bank (my mortgage company) told them that I was in trouble with my mortgage and asked them to call me to help me. They said that my bank will only help me with a mortgage loan modification if I paid $3,000 upfront to use their services. Well, I was so desperate to save my home, I gave them my credit number and they debited $750 from my account. They also promised me that I would get an attorney in Illinois to represent me in court and will get me a 2% interest rate on my new mortgage.

After doing some research, I found out they had scammed lots of people in my state from attoney General's office so I asked for my money back. However, they claimed that they've put so much time and effort into my file that they couldn't return my money. Just so you know, all I did was signing the agreement. I didn't even send in my financial documents to them yet, and they did not work on my file because I called my bank and verifed it!

At this time, I hope they do the right thing and return my money. If not, I will have the attorney general help me to get my money back!

Olympia Law

We lost our home due to foreclosure because of these thieves. Report them to the federal trade commission at 877-382-4357. Prompt one for English, prompt one and then three. The more people that report them the better chance we will have an a class action lawsuit to get our money back. We are out $3600 plus all the equity in our home.
