In December 2012 my husband and I loaned Olivia C. Torres $6600.00, which we were advised that funds were for assisting with down payment on a loan for an investment property. The loan was to be repaid in full by December 31, 2012. She repaid $1000.00 in December 2012, leaving a balance of $5600.00, which as of this complaint has not been repaid.
Due to our ignorance and naive trust in this individual, we failed to obtain anything in writing and per Torres’s excuses; funds were rendered in cash rather than check, leaving no paper trail. After a current Google search of Olivia C. Torres, search of public legal action information, and comments on “Find the Company,” reveal similar practices by this individual.
