Ordered a C# Aeolian 9 back in October 2020. In December I contacted Phil to ask for an eta because the ohm website said 2-3 weeks, but I still hadn’t received mine. He said 2-3 more weeks. I was patient and waited till the end of feb to contact him again, he again said 2-3 weeks. I told him it was very unprofessional to not contact me to update for the continue delayed. Consumer protection agency has clear laws for shipping on time or refunding the order. At this point I asked for a refund. Phil told me he wouldn’t refund my money, then said he magically had a c# pan he could tune right away and ship the following Thur.
I told him I didn’t want it anymore and demanded a refund which he was legally required to give. He still refused and said there’s no way he could give me a refund because it would “screw” him. Asked again a week later on Thur for a refund, he said no and said he was tuning the pan. I reminded him he said it would ship that day and gain asked for a refund, he said nope. 2 weeks later and I finally received a pan, BUT NOT THE PAN I ORDERED. He sent me a c# 8 tuned to Aeolian, and the 9th note is on the bottom. What a joke!!! This pan has 8 notes on top and it’s a smaller pan the an Aeolian 9. I assume it’s all he had and rushed because I asked for a refund. He added two additional notes on the bottom which is incorrect for a C# Aeolian 9 rendering the pan useless for the music I ordered this pan for.
Now phone calls go to voicemail. I’ll be following this up with complaints to the PA AG, BBB, and consumer protection agency. Spend your money somewhere else. Acolyte pans are decently priced and better quality. 4 months, no contact, wrong pan... very unprofessional. If I didn’t bug him everyday since feb 25 I probably never would have received anything. Recommend you go somewhere else that’s honest.
