I was contracted with mike smith at odes utvs to build them a new website, which i have built and is completely done, but have not been paid for it. At first when i met with mike smith and charlotte hodgson at their dallas texas location, this was supposed to be a fairly small website of 15-20 pages, as stated in our contract, and odes utvs was supposed to provide "all images and content in a timely manner", which is also stated in the contract. Because of what they originally said that they wanted, i quoted only a small amount to build this website. However, that being said, not only did they fail to provide all of the images and content for the website in a timely manner Or even at all for that matter - the images they did provide were such poor quality, it was a joke), i had to make trips to dallas to take photos, edit them, and create all of the content. They continued to ask for more and more and more until finally stating that they wanted me to "copy exactly" the hyundai usa website, in part because they were coming out with a line of cars in 2018 to go head-to-head with hyundai. I explained that not only would i not copy the hyundai website because of copyright infringement, but also that that is probably a $300k website with hundreds of pages and that they could expect to get that for the little bit of money that they wanted to spend on the website. I did end up building approximately 75 pages and creating virtually every feature that they wanted, but because of them not providing all of the content and images that they were supposed to and all of the extra work i put into the site, the site took 4 months to build instead of the original 4 weeks that it should have taken. But considering that it took over 2 months to finally talk them into letting me come take some photos of their products At no additional charge), there was no way i was going to be able to complete the site in 4 weeks. This was due to no fault of my own, but i will say that i did my part and completed the website...A website that you should have been charged over $50k for. At least my website is a quality product, unlike what i had the opportunity to see first hand of the odes utvs products when i was in their warehouses taking pictures of these low quality, made-in-china, knock-off imports that are shipped to dallas texas in crates and assembled. They are not "made in usa" or anything really even resembling an american product no matter how much they want to make claims on their website or have things like 12-15-1791 in their logo A website about the why this date is important to approve and radify the constitutional ammendments and bill of righs becoming law that they had set up and has now been taken down - and btw, having "rights" doesn't mean the right to treat people like garbage, scam them and in general be a scumbag). It was unfortunate, but they didn't even have all of the products in stock or all colors that supposedly are available as listed on their current website for me to take pictures of. Many of the ones that they did have instock were either missing parts, damaged or they couldn't even get them started.
I wish that i would have done my due dilegence and researched odes utvs, mike smith and all of the other businesses that he has owned that have hundreds and hundreds of complaints and reports on outscam, the bbb, google reviews and tons of other places. Mike smith is a serial scammer and serial criminal, so buyer beware.
I owned a small business and spending 4 months working on a website for next to no money, 14-16 hours per day, 6-7 days per week, put me out of business and my family in a financial crisis, so congratulations on scamming me and screwing me and my family out the money that you owe me.
Mike smith will probably file a rebuttal to this and that's fine, but take note that he's nothing but a scammer, a liar and a real a-hole. I'll definitely see you court. You better just hope i don't see you on the trails where we can settle this texas-style.
Ordered parts a month ago they sent the wrong part, e-mailed them several times and sent an e-mail back saying they were sending a new part that out to be the very same wrong part they sent the first time sent another e-mail back stating that fact and they will not answer back nor will they give a phone number to me because I am not a dealear and they dont speak to customers. I sorry I bought prodict from them and have had other problems with them on repairs under warrenty. Ron, Beallsville,Ohio

BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY 10 MONTHS OLD THAT THEY WERE COVERED UNDER THE 12 MONTH WARRANTY AFTER THE BEARING AND OTHER PARTS WERE REPLACED THEY TELL ME THAT JERRY BAYLESS (ESCALATIONS AND QC MANAGER FROM CALIFORNIA) SAID THEY DON'T COVER BEARINGS BECAUSE THY ARE AN WEARABLE PART DON'T YOU THINK THEY SHOULD COVER THEM FOR 12 MONTHS? COME TO FIND OUT THE BEARING THAT WAS INSTALLED AT FACTORY WAS AN UNSEALED BEARING I'M ASSUMING THAT WOULD BE ALL FOUR WHEELS BECAUSE THE BEARING ON MY FRONT DRIVER SIDE WAS UNSEALED BUT THE REPLACEMENT BEARING THEY SEND OUT IS SEALED ON BOTH SIDES SO THAT TELLS ME IT'S A FACTORY DEFECT JUST BECAUSE OF THIS BEARING ISSUE I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER ODES THE DEALER SHOULD HAVE STOOD UP MORE FOR THE CUSTOMER (REAL WEAK) I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT ELSE ISN'T COVERED IF ANYBODY IS INTERESTED IN THE FACTS I HAVE THE E-MAILS STATING WHAT I SAID HERE YOU CAN E-MAIL ME [email protected]
