Santa Fe Springs location in California has officially blackballed me for no reason, they have lied to me saying over a week ago how they need to take a blood sample, which was a week ago so they did. That part is not unusaul, but what has transpired now is and makes no sense to me that I can't get an answer and I am being lied too, its very obvious.

My vitals were fine which I took with Adam last. And my proteins is good to, but management is lying to me saying it was low, so they have to send it out to NORTH CAROLINA to be test further. This center has the ability to do their own testing and they know it. Its such a fat lie. I called the number and it goes nowhere but to a call center and the customer rep said I know nothing about it.

Twice I have called today at 7am in the morning and Derrick refuse to let me speak to a manager. All managers are females working at this location. There is a fat white woman in her 40's with blonde hair she is the main manager and told me I could call back after I spoke to her last week because she didn't have a result yet. Now I know she is lying to me. Nothing was ever mailed to NORTH CAROLINA. If there was such a center that did further testing then why don't the other people know about it?

The Santa Fe location has the ability to check blood, its all a lie to black ball me. I now understand why there are no people left at the center, they're doing it to everyone. Its been empty for a long time and the excuse is, "oh its tax season" this is why its so slow. Another time management was specualting lies how the reason for a drop in people is their collecting welfare. Right you don't know who files taxes or whp is on welfare. No they are black balling donors intentionally. Why? Who knows, they recently gave an increase which they should and two months later took it away from everyone by $50 dollars.

The majority of people are not going to claim this on their taxes and I doubt that is the reason. I also noticed the window was busted last week, maybe its for the same reason of lying to someone about donating. There was nothing wrong with my donations or my protein it was at 42 because I saw Adam last and asked him. I called an hour ago just today June 12,2023 to the Santa Fe location and they refuse to answer the phones forwarding it to a call center in Indiana and after speaking to another customer rep Darrin told me the Santa Fe location won't answer the phones. I asked him to speak to his manager and he lies saying no one is available. Right no one ever is available.

I told him I am going to the media and rip off report there is no reason to treat me this way, its bad enough this cheap a*s company took $50 dollars away from everyone two months ago and now they just want to black ball all donors at the location. Managers don't take responsibility or will answer the phones. Many times staff was very negligent with set ups on the machine and another time I was not given my saline. Otherwise its been good but now I am being treated badly and now someone just blocked my plasma card. I am going too news media

Let me start by saying all of the bad reviews are 100% accurate. As a first time donor I waited for 3 hours to be registered and there was only 2 ppl in front of me. The staff are slow as hell, drag their feet and take their precious time. They are so inconsiderate. The funky attitudes needs to be left outside.

The heavy set chic with the blond hair in a bun named “Sade” needs a serious attitude adjustment, and she has a nasty a@@ mouth, while talking to another co worker in the donor section she was constantly using foul language, not cute sweetie. This is a professional establishment and she should know how to conduct herself while working.

While I understand your pay grade is low you all should be thankful you have a job. The facility is in a sketchy area so don’t be surprised when you see dope heads outside the front door and even inside of the facility donating just to get their quick fix. The tweaking is no joke, it’s sad. Smh. The entire time I was there it was absolutely no one at the front desk to help customers, you have to pretty much walk around and find a staff member to assist you which is quite pathetic and unprofessional.

You also have random ppl walking in off the streets and walking in the bathroom doing god knows what and clearly they where drug addicts. There is no type of security in this place. The kiosk that you use to check in and answer questions looks like it will give you a disease. It’s also very slow as you cannot move on to the next question until the machine finishes reading it for you. This is the dumbest thing.

There should be an option where you turn the audio reading off as this takes extremely long. I was told that they wipe the kiosk machines down and sanitize them which is a lie. The entire time I was there not one staff member wiped those machines down. Ugh! I had to request a wipe down before I touched that mess! I also attempted to address my concerns with a young “manager” whom did not respond to my concerns professionally.

These young chics are something else honey. Do yourself a favor and go to CSL in Forestville. Also, the very elder chic that takes your blood pressure , iron level, etc that has the very short haircut and red lipstick needs an attitude adjustment. She seems very miserable with her life, her energy is negative.

I’ve been a productive Donor all my life. Donating dating back 15-20 years ago steadily! At Octapharma the staff (i.e., Olivia who claims to be supervisor presently and Pamela) seem like mean staff. For example, I came into a Octapharma payment where my debit card deferred and I was unable to make purchases for over 10 business days! Called the Octapharma office in Tampa and the supervisor (i.e., Olivia) answers the phone and I explain the situation! She hangs up the phone, whatever, accidentally, unknowingly etc! Later, I research Octapharma Plasma on other sites and read about similar attitudes throughout other Octapharma locations! The phone hang ups, the mean attitude and the payment errors are common at this Tampa, Florida location. It has got to stop! I have lost confidence in this location because of unhealthy practices!

First I worked there for 9 months and had issues with payroll for 7 of them. I had a miscarriage in February while at work and was placed on medical leave until my doctor authorized me to return. I went through the process for temporaty medical pay with our insurer and was approved, but never received the funds for the 2 weeks I missed. I followed back up with the insurerer and was told to speak with my employer. We had a big meeting and Gina had been stealing money from Octapharma and I was asked to wait until July to recieve my medical pay. When July came Octapharma told me that they were not going to pay me. Payroll is consisteneltly late there by more than 3 days and management will tell you that it isn't their job to chase down your check.

I had an issue with an employee where he was yelling at me calling me a "Black b***h" saying that he'd "Slap my Face" and donors had to step in. He scared me seeing that he is 6 foot 7 white guy and so I went to John the facility manager for help. He told me that he would handle it. The next day Robert did the same thing calling me names and threatinging violence and again clients had to step in as I was backing away and he was walking towards me. I again went to John and he told me that I can't come to hin for every issue. The problem is that Robert is a drug dealer for the staff, management and donors of the clinic. He is always in the storagte room selling drugs or using drugs and I was asking him to help me as he was assigned to work with me and that brought on his rage, racial comments and throeats of violence. No one would help as he is their drug dealer. So I just continued working on my own performing the job duties of 2 people working out of ratio.

I asked John to upgrade my license which would allow me to work in a hospital, medical office etc...and he told me know because he diden't want me to leave. I had an Assistant Manager upgrade it and two days later I was fired for an underdraw that occured 7 weeks prior. I now work in a hospital in a completely better work envcironment and Octapharma still hasn't paid me my last paycheck from when I was terminated 7 weeks ago.

I applied for Unemplyment Benefits and after 7 weeks they denied me for those benefits without ever speaking to me. We had a scheduled appointment so they could discuss it woth me an dnever called. I called repeatedly and left many messagtes and they were never returned. they did however speak with my previous employer and denied me based upon that conversation. This agency DETR protects corrupt busiensses and rejects they employees who pay into the services without even speaking with them.

I am okay net receiveing the unemployment benefits as I am now working and my struggles will soon be behind me. I have come to the understanding that Octapharma has no intention of paying me and while I'm not okay with that there is nothing I can do, but file a complaint with the Labor Commission. I just want the world to know that you will be mistreated by Octapharma Plasma, Inc and that DETR will ignore you.
