My mom lost her home in Rockport, Texas I hurricane Harvey. She was going to move by us in spring branch,TX. We found a nice home in seguin,tx At oak creek homes. And she decided she wanted to move back to Rockport so we had to then get a wind zone 2. We went back to Oak Creek Homes And told Tony Craig we really wanted the home she chose if they had a wind zone 2 in it and he said no but he had one that we would be happy with in comparison and we could chose the colors.. we asked if we could see it and he said he had no pictures but he can show us the plans..but they would build it and we would love it...so being we trusted him ...my mom told him to make sure he had storm doors on it so her dogs can look out. Well we said ok we will take it and he got the contract out and I he kept putting a paper in front of me to sign. So I signed the contract because I thought it would be a nice home like the other.
it took a while for the home to get built and then in late December it was delivered.
When my mom and I went to see it I ALMOST PASSED OUT FROM IT LOOKING NOTHING LIKE THE OTHER...I called him up and said I HATE IT. HATE HATE HATE IT. It had so many things wrong but he said to let him fix it and we would be happy...including the storm door that was not on it. Well we have had nothing but problems and the lancaster service center said some of the stuff was suppose to look like it did...but yet none of the lancaster people came out to this day to see the shoddy work...so to this day we have not got everything solved and we probably wont get it done either because a girl named cory pops an attitude. And I dont understand why I had to sign a contract before they even started building it! To me that means they can build a crappy trailer because it was signed before it was started and it covers all? What a RIP off.
I have put in complaints when my trailer was put in with no results. Here I sit with a half 0f a trailer not a full sie trailer and still owe over $45,000.000 on it.I have a single wide with 1 and 1/2 bedrooms. When I complaine in 2011 when the railer was installled I got no where. Oak Creek Homes cut of part of the trailer but did not lower the bill. Bside all the things wrong with it. I know that nothing will be done sbout my complant, but I thought I would try again.
