I was sold a 2000 jeep Cherokee from this dealership I gave $625.00 and they told me they gave the vehicle a 100+ inspection as soon as I took it home the front console the driver power window the a/c not working and need not forget the vehicle overheating so I send it back to service and they allege they resolve the issue it's been 7 times in a month need to remind that it's within the 30 day warranty I told Andrew I want my money back and he keeps on stalling so now I'm going once again to service because the vehicle continue overheating
Went in on July 3rd, 2015, needed a car really bad but didn't want to seem desperate. I knew I was taking a chance, but thought I was frugal enough to see a scam but I was wrong, Mike the salesman seemed nice enough, told him my situation and what I was looking to spend. He came up with two cars he had on the lot, a Buick four door, took it for a ride around the block, noticed the knobs inside to control air didn't work, and the radio was on one station and a set volume but you couldn't change it. we asked to see the other car, a Ford Focus, looked clean enough, rode around the block, few funny noises but we knew it was an older car, one good thing going for this car is it had four newer tires. Still had my doubts, women's intuition. Was ready to walk. Mike immediatley offered a little more discount and the option of putting part of the down payment and would extend the rest for 2 weeks. stupid me went ahead with the paper work, even though I still was not feeling good about the whole deal. Took immediatley to a certified master mechanic who took a look over the whole car, showing it had been wrecked, few tire rods looked new but the rack was bad an would need to be replaced. looked in the power steering resievoir and it had black grey sludge with grit in it. he said that would need to be replaced or at the least flushed out, and may have some emmissions issue. Went straight back to Mike a Ok Carz, less the two hours after signing. He said it would have to be checked over by their contracted mechanic mike at S&S automotive. Fine. We took the car over to him at 9 am july 4th 2015, he confermed that it was in need of repair. Ok Carz took the car to thier corporate office in lakeland to have the mechanic there look at it and find out why this car had made it through inspection and sent out to the lots, I'm thinking ok they will make this right. They kept the car for two days, I'm inconvienanced during this time trying to get rides to an from work for myself as well as my husband and my kids. They only replaced the power steering pump but did not flush out the system, black sludge and all still there. During the paperwork being done I specifically said that I didn't want a money pit, but sure seems like I got one anyway, Mike the salesman also said he checked the car fax and it was clean even though it was aparent by the differance in paint color that it has infact been in an accident. I feel it is wrong to buy a car and have to put it in the shop to be repaired. My second thing that was nagging at me was the fact that I checked Kelly Blue book on this car. they had me paying 10,000 for a car that only cost 1900.00 to 4000.00, and that good working condition. My mechanic said I would still have to do several hundred dollars worth of repairs. Uh No. I am not paying double for a car I have to also repair, I would be better off buying from a person on the street then this company. We did call them at the corporate office in lakeland, the mechanic there told my husband he would see what he could do. Never heard back from them, the 2 weeks past and the other two hundered for the down payment was due, all along I am still not feeling good about this. They came an repoed the car then said we had to pay almost 600.00 to get it back. UH NO. Some man did finally call from lakeland and said he would eat half the cost of the repo fee pay the 325.00 and we can resume payments,, or walk away. I chose to walk away. Don't be fooled an have to go thru what we did.
