My van was missing and needed repair. I took it to O'Learys Automotive Repair in Hampstead, NC.
Without calling for authorization, they claimed they located a bad coil which they claimed they replaced. It was coil number 2.
The cost was $257.11.
Unbeknowst to them, that number 2 coil had just been replaced exactly 1 month before.
The coil they gave me back and claimed was bad - was an old, worn, used coil that appeared to have been deliberately altered with a knife.
There is no way the coil they gave to me, and claimed to have replaced could have looked (which had been in my vehicle 1 month) could have looked the way the "bad coil" they returned looked.
The cost was $257.11.
Didn't get 1/2 mile down the road and the vehicle was missing.Took it into the local dealer where they found a #2 bad spark plug.
O'Learys Automotive was dishonest, deceptive and unprofessional.
Be careful and cautious about doing business with this company.
