NutraPlusFitPro.com Reviews
Don’t be a SUCKER like I was!!! It’s NOT worth the $4.94 you MISTAKENLY believe you can afford. You think, “Not even five bucks—why not give it a try?”
Because it’s a BIG FAT SCAM!!! That’s why!
They offered Garcinia Cambogia for $4.94 dollars a bottle, and as soon as I entered my credit card information, the next page didn’t show a total of $4.94 like I expected but an additional $4.95 for the “Optional” Mango Cleanse, with a statement that the Garcinia Cambogia would work better with it.
Since it was “Optional,” I thought, “Nah, I’ll try it without it, but it wouldn’t let me go back. I clicked to try to go back several times, but it was stuck. I had already entered my credit card information, and the only other option was to push the button to complete the purchase, so I ended up being forced to purchase the Mango Cleanse for $4.95 against my will.
AS SOON AS I clicked to complete the purchase, THE WHOLE PAGE DISAPPEARED. VANISHED. Unlike Amazon OR ANY REPUTABLE online company, there was NO invoice, no receipt, no email confirmation, NOTHING. I had no way of knowing if my order had even been processed.
I thought I MIGHT have been scammed at that point, but thought, well, at least it’s less than $10. And I love my credit card company and have seen them protect me in the past from things I would have known nothing about. And I thought MAYBE it was just an accident that it went off so fast, and MAYBE they’re just a relatively young company, and they haven’t learned about doing emails or confirmations yet. I guess I’ll wait and see if any product comes. That was Nov. 10, 2017.
I EVEN received an email from my credit card company that stated, “Our fraud defenses flagged the purchase below as unusual for your VISA SIGNATURE card ending in XXXX. Do you or an authorized user recognize this purchase?”
November 10, 2017 NPF*NutraPlusFit $4.94
Of course, I recognized the purchase, so at that point, I felt that since I ordered the product in good conscience, perhaps they would meet my expectations and deliver the product as I expected. Looking back, I'm kicking myself that I didn't call my credit card company then. They obviously knew something about this company and its schemes that I didn't. Perhaps if my credit card company had used different language?? I didn't know WHY they thought the purchase was unusual.
To my surprise, the product came! About a week later. There was no invoice, no receipt, no company name for me to contact them. Again, I thought there was probably a 50-50 chance of it working or not. I wondered how I would get their information to reorder if it actually worked.
I began taking both pills as directed with a full glass of water and noticed no changes. My husband said to give it more time. I finished the 30-day supply and there was no change, and I thought, oh well, Ten bucks down the drain. End of story.
But not so fast. On Jan. 5, 2018, 56 days AFTER the initial purchase, so at least 50 days AFTER the first shipment arrived, a second shipment arrived of the same product. There was no return label, no invoice, so I had no idea of the name of the company. At first I thought it must have been a mistake.
On Jan. 7, I called my credit card company to see if they could find the name of the company and contact information so I could return the product. I also wanted to make sure they had not charged me another $4.95 and $4.94 for two more bottles.
The credit card agent told me that NPT*NutraPlusFit had actually charge my card FOUR TIMES in addition to the two charges I authorized, and those charges weren’t just for less than five bucks each, but for $88.63 and $89.27, Nov. 24 and Dec. 24. Almost $360 in charges!!!
My credit card agent explained that they see this kind of thing ALL THE TIME and that she was happy to help. She tried to call NPT*NutraPlusFit while I was on the phone with her to tell them we wanted to send back the product and to cancel the “subscription.” A “subscription” I NEVER signed up for!! But there was no answer. Which she said did not surprise her.
I then began investigating NPT*NutraPlusFit. I found their website: http://www.nutraplusfitpro.com. The first paragraph of their Terms and Conditions is bogus in that they currently state (1-23-18) that anyone who orders from them is bound by the Terms and Conditions, and that THEY can modify or change them at anytime. That’s like saying “We can change the rules in the middle of the game.” To make it even worse, they say they can do that with or without notice:
This is a legal agreement (the 'Agreement') between You, the individual, company or organization ('you,' 'your,' or 'Customer') and Nutra Plus Fit Complex ('we,' 'our', 'Company'). By ordering, accessing, using or purchasing Nutra Plus Fit ('Product') through this website or related websites (collectively the 'Website'), you are agreeing to be bound by, and are becoming a party to, this Agreement. We may at our sole and absolute discretion change, add, modify, or delete portions of this Agreement at any time without notice. It is your sole responsibility to review this Agreement for changes prior to use of the Website or purchase of the Product.
IF the product had ACTUALLY WORKED, they still would have FAILED to keep their promise in the Terms and Conditions as stated today. They state that they charge “you for a 1 month supply every 30 days starting 30 days after your 14 day trial period ends” and that “your trial shipment includes the first 30 days worth of product, so that you can continue on the program without any disruption.” And “You will start receiving a fresh supply on a monthly basis starting 30 days after your 14-day trial period Ends.”
However, 30 days had come and gone from my first shipment. In fact 26 days had passed since I’d finished that trial order with a 30-day supply. A 26 day disruption of the program!!! Imagine IF it had actually been doing something!!! Any benefits that had been realized would have been at risk after almost the same amount of time without the product. But it didn't matter. The product did NOTHING that I could ascertain. For all I know, they could have been placebos.
They also state that there is a $9.95 restocking fee on all returned items. I am working with my credit card company to dispute all of these charges, but have no guarantee how it will go.
