How can they have a license...investagration with the State , we tell us after..
Have work for this company for quite a long time as a subcontractor. Never have we been paid as per the terms of our subcontractor agreement. Those terms stated invoices will be paid Within 30 days for residential work orders and 45 days for commercial work orders However residential work orders have gone 60 days past due and Commercial well over 90 days past due. When you contact the accounting department or those key individuals that are supposed to be processing your payment several things may happen. 1 they do not return your call. 2 they do not return your email or 3 they say it's only this many days past due are you tight up for money?
Are you having money problems? And you state we just want to be paid on time in a reasonable amount of time as per the terms of the contract and they state that your emails and phone calls are disruptive to their company. Perhaps nutech National is the one who has money problems. They do not allow you to charge late fees for any invoices no matter how far past due they are. And when you provide other means of them sending your payment they consider that special treatment. Since when is getting your money on time special treatment? If you're in the field subcontracting stay away from nutech National. They will never pay you on time and their accounting department has no professional demeanor at all.
Started doing business with Nutech a few years ago, the sales rep was awesome and very competent. I really thought that NuTech was the answer to my organizations security and fire needs, which as the Director of the LP department really excited me.
My dreams of simplicity slowly but surely became a nightmare with NuTech being being the villain. Many promises were made by their president Greg Detardo, however they were not fulfilled. Technology that the president swore up and down the company used "all the time" fell on its face when implemented in my stores. I took it upon myself to do my own investigating and spoke with my sales rep who came clean and told me this was the first time they had attempted to fulfill a request of our nature. I then gave the president a chance to come clean (not telling him I knew the truth), instead he lied up and down saying they had done this for many clients yada yada yada B.S.!
The worst part came when we did an audit on materials used and labor hours spent on site, what our audit found was shocking! Ficticious parts being charged to jobs and many ghost hours being charged. When I confronted Nutech they could not give me a straight answer as to why, just a huge pile of compounded lies.
After pulling my business from Nutech, I spoke with some others in the industry who shared similar stories of dishonesty revolving around Nutech National, I wish I could say I was surprised. All in all, if you are in the market for a different security integrator or life safety provider look elsewhere.
