I responded to a pop up window that I saw either on Facebook or Yahoo, I'm not remember which it was. The ad stated that I could recieve the cream for a free trial just pay the shipping of $4.99, after agreeing to that another pop up came up about a partner product to make the first work better for $5.99 shipping. I read the entire article before deciding to get these two creams. Nowhere in the article that I could find stated that the creams were snake oil and stem cells, if i had seen this I would not have purchased the free trial. There was also no mention of being charged $88.95 or $89.29 for the two creams after 14 days. I called the numbers that were on my credit card statement and was told that there was no refund after the 14 days although I was never told that the 14 days began the date of order.
The first time I called was within the 14 days but I could not get any satisfaction from the foreigner that I spoke with, other than him trying to talk me into not canceling and accepting a lower price of $25. I called back multiple times and even asked to speak to one person's supervisor but was never allowed this. I was flat out told that I would not be getting a refund. I asked to send both products back but was told that they do not accept return shipments, so I am stuck with $ 178.00+ of products that I will never use. My husband is furious because the money that was taken was taken from his SSI disability as I explained to this company, but they didn't care. They had fooled me and taken advantage of me, got their misbegotten money and didn't care about anything else. My husband intends to go after them legally if he can to get his money back, due to the misinformation that was posted in this pop up ad. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or help that anyone may be able to offer to help us to get satisfaction from these swindlers. Their product may work great but their marketing tactics should be illegal. Taking advantage of someone is a horrible thing to do to anyone. They may think that anyone ordering their product is vain and there for fair game to take advantage of but they need to be stopped. This put quite a hardship on me financially as well as emotionaly due to my husband's anger at the whole situation.
On the internet I was offered a sample of NuAge cream if I paid the shipping. They charged that on my credit card. I called soon and told them it did not work and I didn't want any more. I told them if they sent it I would write refused --I took the package to the post office and the lady wrote on it "refused' and said it would be sent back--that was last week.
Now yesterday our Visa bill came and they have charged my account $93.99 two times once on Oct. 29 and once on Nov.14 payable to NCS*CLEANSINGDIETPRO 844-283-5779 TX
Nu Age Skin Cream. I paid $4.99 for a free sample, that was the shipping only. I did not see or click on the terms and conditions is small print which say if you do not cancel 15 days from the day you order it you will be charge $96.69. And you cannot get out of it through the bank either. You cannot get a refund. Further insult is that they offer a price of only $25 per month if you stay with them.
Responded to "free" trial for a cream. I received the trial and then 3 weeks later I got another shipment and a credit charge $187.62! And then I found a second charge for same amt. on my credit card 3 weeks after that! When I called A very fast talking, heavily accented man would not issue a credit. Finally, with a 2nd call ( through ) my CC company a Different rep. Coerced me into accepting a credit for only one of the charges saying if I disputed the charges and I would lose and be on the hook for both charges. I tried to email the company at [email protected] and it came back " Delivery failure ".
I was conned by Nu-Age Skin, The process is very deceptive, They owe me about 100 dollars. When I called to speak to a manager to reason with them, she was horrible. She kept talking over me and hammered me down. I aked for the headquarters name and address, she said she did not have to tell me. I was so upset by the verbal bullying that my knees were shaking when she hung uo on me. I am in shock. Beware - Nu-Age Skin "samples'
Website forced you to purchase 2nd item when you didn't choose it. There was no disclaimer about the charges that would be made if you did not cancel. When you call the number you're put on hold but nobody answers call. The skin revive charged my credit card without my approval. I had to be rude to get it cancelled. When i received nuage i found it was the same jar from san diego as the skin revive came in, same label just different label. The product seems identical but there aren't ingredients listed!!
This company offers 14 day trial for their product. The scam is that the 14 days starts from the day you place the order.
By the time they ship it, you receive it, there is not enough time to try it and call them to say you want to return it within 14 days from your order date. This is all in small fine print buried in the ordering info. A total scam.
Absent calling and saying you don't want it within 14 days of the day you placed the order, they will charge you. It is not a trial size that they send you...its a full 1oz of the product....essentially if you order the trial, you will be charged for it.
They charged me $93 X 2 for 2 "trials"!!! One for snake venom peptide cream, and the other for Cellulift. So they chaged me $186 exacly 14 days after I ordered the trial.
I do not trust this company - I will not use these products.
DO NOT be fool by NuAge Skin product because the product and the web site is a scam. The NuAge web page (http://nuageskin.net/) is designed to "force" you into completing the order that you want to try plus n additional product that you didn't ask for because there's no CANCEL function. For me, since the shipment fee was only $5.95 for the second product, I told myself that I can return it once I receive the order since there's no contact information on the webpage.
When the products arrived, there was no shipping/contact information. The first time I got a contact information was when I got billed for the subscription order. I call immediately and was told by the customer support that she will cancel the order, stop the shipment and credit the amount back to my credit card. However, when I received my monthly credit card billing, I realized that NuAge DID NOT credit my credit card.
On the contrary, a recurring bill was placed on my credit card. So I filed a dispute with my credit card company and all called NuAge at 877-244-6791 to try to resolve the dispute. I talked to Sonia Lopez (the cusomter support) who was very rude and refused to give me full credit back for the credit charges.
Nuage designed their web page to fool customer in thinking they are getting a trail of the product by not displaying the terms & conditions so the consumer is totally unaware of the fact that they are getting sucked into a subscription order. Besides, you can't take action to cancel since there's no contact information until NuAge start charging you for the subscription. I will continue to work with my credit card company to get credit back for the $202. I hope no one else will fall into the same trap that I did.
