The owner of this company, Jeff Silverman sold me a piece of industrial equipment stated to be in good used condition. In all reality the machinery was broken and taken out of commission due to the damage it suffered a long time ago. Jeff failed to disclose the damage, maybe he knew, maybe he didn't. His actions afterwards speak leagues to his character and I would urge any and all to avoid doing business with this man. He took weeks to ship the item in the first place, nearly burning 75% of the return window waiting on actual shipment.
The day after it arrived and I unwrapped the undamaged pallet I made him aware of the old paint & dust filled crack rendering the equipment scrap ( verified by the manufacturer to be non-repairable ) he stated it must have happened in transit ( how exactly?? ) he purported to have opened a damage claim with the logistics company ( as I later found out only to buy time ) but never actually did. Every time I checked in Jeff asked me to be patient, he was waiting on the claim to process. Once the return window closed Jeff turned into a ghost and I have been dealing with him fighting a very legitimate credit card charge back for months now.
Jeff owes me $740.09 and refuses to be a honest and upstanding person. I have no doubt he runs his business with the same constitution.
Jeff shipped scrap metal, lied about the condition, lied about filing a claim, and is lying to the credit card company about it all.
