Chipped wheels. See image. I will wait to see what they do to fix this problem. I took pictures of every wheel before I had the tires changed, so I have proof. The pictures were taken when I parked my car there, I am proof of that too. And they did not put on the tire valve caps. I want all the wheels replaced so the match.
When the mechanic brought me my car the car after he claimed he had repaired the brakes but the engine was now missing badly. I immediately retrieved the mechanic and he said, without using the computer, I should drive my car over the weekend and it may "work its problems out” and to bring it back in Monday. Before I could leave their property the engine light came on I returned and showed this problem to the mechanic, He repeated his previous comment. When I drove it home the engine light continued to display. I woke up the next day the light was now "blinking” so I took it to and they used their computer to indicate that there was a bad engine coil on cylinder number 5. I printed as much as I could and also found as much about the bad coil on my computer about this problem. I took it back to the shop and they replaced the engine coil and my car ran well until this week. Research on my computer and informed me that CW is aware of these bad engine coils and that I should expect to have another coil problem, as the burn out within a few months.
Well, last week my engine began to run roughly once again so I suspect the bad engine coil has returned. CW recalled all of the cars between 2001 -2003 for bad engine coils, but they should have also included the 2004 models. Persistently bad manufactured VW engine coils are the company’s responsibility not that of the customer’, this is a VW production problem which they were aware of!!! That was prior to 5PM and they close at 9PM After 4 hours I never received a call and today is yet another day and I still have not received a reply from this dealer REPLY NTB Offers an unacceptable "Token $20 gift certificate" for $10,000 damages done by their mechanics
NTB in Matteson rippedme off!
They misadjusted my cam shaft and now itis costing me$1000 to have it repaired by VW
The NTB mechanics wee supposed to repair my front brakes ( which wer still on thier warranty) and when my car was rerurned to me , withiiut the mechanic sayng a word) the engine was backfiring as one cyliner wasinoperative. The NTB mechanic told me to drive my car over the week end bbut before I couldleave teh engine lgith came on and he said drive it even though he never putit onteh dianostic computer. On Sunday I reurned to NTB and was told by oneo the front couner men not to drive the car for not wth elgith was blinnking.
I went to they put thier computer on (for free) and tld me that my coil on eh 5th cylinder was burned ou
I reurned to NTB with as much information that I could find on my computer regarding a cuntrnedour coil on the engine and they replaced the coil and the ngine ran OK for a few months. NTB told me that they did not have a compueter for my VW. ?he engine began missing again. I could not longer trust NTB so I took it to VW and they diagnosed my car to have a bad cam adjuster which could have been caused by the NTB mechanci since my car only has 39,000 miles.
I tried speaking to the NTB mnager but he left me and did not return.
I wrote to NTB Corp and they responded by writing that they wre going to send me a "tijeb $20 gift certificate" for their ill-mannered mechanics and serious problems I had! A "%20 token coupon" does not begin to help me pay for the $10,000.00 worth of damages done by their employees!!!
We took our 2012 Jeep wrangler to them to replace the tires , and alignment . When we went to pick up the vehicle they told us that they coundn't perform an alignment because it needed ball joints . I fortunately know enough about cars to know when they have a ball joint problem. We paid for the tires and left.
I took it to a Mechanic that I trust and they told me that they like to make money just like the next guy, but I'm not going to rip you off. Our Jeep didn't need ball joints . My Mechanic didn't charge me for the diagnosis.
