In the summer of 2017 I ordered the "free" trial of Nouveau Restor Skin moisturizer and Nouveau Eye Serum and paid shipping and handling. I did not order any more and was not aware they would send me more. However I still tried to find a number to ensure that they would not send me anymore. I could not read the number on the bottle (extremely small and on the crease of the packaging). I could not find a number on the internet. I was in Washington State because I work with the National Park Service. I left in September to return to Florida. I never received any more products from this company.
In April 2018 I discovered that my bank account was off by about 1200 dollars! I reviewed my statements and found out I had been charged approximately 180 dollars a month by this company since I left Washington! I got the number of the company from my bank and called the company. The first phone call one representative agreed to send me one month of the product to me free because the product had been returned (evidently by the government office I worked for)The next phone call the following day I talked to a representative and a supervisor. Neither would refund me or even send me the 1200 dollars worth of product I paid for! I have this conversation recorded. This company was backed by Victoria Osteen (Joel Osteen Ministries) so I thought it was legitimate! They are theives and their product sucks!!!
This company sends you a trial offer for a few bucks and then somewhere in their small print sets you up on an auto ship to which you never knowingly authorized. Then when you try to contact them you can't get through or if by email I tried on numerous occasions to send info and it would not go through. Unsubscribe page says it can't be found and I tried that several times. After reading the other reports and reviews I see this is their tactics and I'll be contacting the BBB and any other consumer protection agencies I can find to report this outfit! Do not do business with this company! I feel ripped off and I'm going to hound these people until I get some satisfaction, like my money back!
I purchased the trial products Nouveau eye serum and moisturizer for about $4.94 ea. For shipping costs...which were shipped together; therefore should have been one flat shipping fee of $4.95 for both... secondly after having the product a short time...I notice they have withdrawn $89.00 out of my account...when I contacted them they replied that it's in their fine print contract if they don't hear from you after 14 days you are billed for the full 30 day supply which they claim is what they give you as a trial for 14 days...VERY SHADY ANDROID MISLEADING ADVERTISING in my opinion...I told them (which I believe they are counting on) most people will not swe or even notice the fine print in this contract for something they just believe is a trial product @ shipping price only with no other steps needed..Finally after telling them I would file a complaint they agreed to credit me back $67 of the $89 because of course it was past the 14 day period and I had not contacted them they also cancelled any need for further agreement or contract...even though I thought the product was pretty good...I would not want to deal with a company that I feel misleads customEra and is like pulling teeth to get your money back which was just taken without any notification other than fine print in a contract that I did not even see at the time I signed up!! Very disappointed!!!
False advertisement on free trial of nouveau restor product. They stated the vitamin c was 24.95 and the pm eye serum 4.97 and cream 4.97 free shipping n handling. I ordered this on 12/15/17 and on 12/29/17 and 1/3/18 they made 2 additional charges on my card one for 89.94 the other for 84.97 when i called agent Winaw 111 and agentb179 Thalisha as well as agent Harlem 433 stated after 14 days the trial turns into a membership and they then charge you the full product amount. My issue is that this is false advertisement, they do not state this in their ad at all which is trickery. The second thing is they advertise this product is promoted and owned by Johanna Gaines and that is FRAUD, FALSE ADVERTISMENT AND ILLEGAL. I was told that if i did not dispute the bill n simply returned the product they would reimburse. I called my credit card and disputed the bill.
Was thinking that my rooster neck was developing a little more than I liked. Product promises to tighten-no go-does not work. This is not the worst part. After receiving the product you are automatically charged for the free product. I was charged 89.95. I negotiated a return and refund however the last e-mail I received indicated that I must call their customer service department. That is where the real fun began. They acted as if they could not either find or read the email. Apparently they are instructed to ignor such communication in favor of playing dumb and stupid. I spoke to two different people about the issue. One a front line person and two a supervisor. The front line person was a little more helpful than the supervisor who would not answer a simple question-Did you read the last e-mail. She stood mute on the request. This company needs to be put out of business.
Ordered a trial offer for face eye cream, for $5 each. it took over two weeks to arrive. i noticed that my account was chaged for $90 . when i called the phone number that appears, i was told that i was charged the full price for trial product. i spoke to pedro, # 499, and was told the i would have had to cancel order in 14 days . which started on the day you ordered. i asked him how can they charge for a product that i jhad yet to try to see if it worded? he stated that i can't return the pruduct, but could give me a 50% discount on future orders. i said no thank you and canceled future shipments. please note i live in puerto rico which is not on the state charts.
On May 2017, while in Florida, USA, I read a Facebook promo on the trial of Noveau Restor skin cream and eye cream products. They sent me the trial products in Staten Island, NY during my last leg of travel in USA.
Last July 2017, I was so surprised to see on my JBilling Statement the June 2017 charges done on my credit card in the amount of almost 200 USD. I did not give any permission to the company to charge me for these products on trial nor did I receive a Feedback Form for the trial. Had I known that it would cost me that much, if they had sent me a Feedback Form, I would have returned those 2 products right away.
Then only this month, August 2017, I was charged again for the month of July, for the same products which I did not re-order. I reported these transactions to my credit card company and was aghast to find out that I have been charged again on the August billing. According to my credit company, the charges were categorized as "Subscription', meaning I will be charged monthly for them and till when, I do not know! That is blatant violation of my rights as a consumer!
Since I was not the only one duped into this kind of scam, my testimonies and facts are strong enough to pin down and file charges against that company, Noveau Restor! My credit company had been properly advised about this. I have submitted my dispute letter and the necessary documents to make the company liable for their despicable scam.
