An Emergency Room Nurse took a Urine Sample from me and ran out of the room without labeling the cup. Now I have an uphill battle to correct testing positive for Marijuana and Cocaine. I was able to determine along with 2 different nurses that it was not my sample because none of my prescriptions showed up. It would have been easy to disprove the Marijuana and Cocaine if they just looked for it in the blood test that they took in the ER. I learned days later, from a very helpful nurse, that while this is usually standard procedure, Norwood Hospital just "doesn't do that".
Dr. Norman Tabroff MD makes decisions about Psychiatry Patients in the ER without even seeing them in person, Just by calling the ER and looking at your medical records on his computer.
Dr. Mahmood Sharfi MD does not spend the appropriate time with patients in the Psychiatry Department that he runs. He is only there for 2 hours a day and then he goes off to his own practice. Certain prescription medications are arbitrarily banned. Nobody told me about the privileges I was able to earn with good behavior. I spent days without going outside because nobody informed me I needed to get a Doctor's order for fresh air.
The only saving grace was going to the Patient Advocate David to get the Prescriptions I needed.
