The apartment complex when they rent the apartment they make the contract in such way that is not fair to the renter. Normally everywhere the rule is that the renter can give a one month notice and vacate the place with out any additional charges.. Here NORTH WEST HILL APARTMENTS is cheating the renters in many ways ..they charged us one month rent in advance to give them NOTICE to vacate the apartment.beside this they charged us additional 2 months rent. we gave the flat in totally clean condition. they charged additional US$ 650 for replacing the carpet etc. we moved in 10/07/14 and vacated it on 11/30/16..gave them notice to vacate on 10/01/16. first the sent us a INVOICE of $2340 on 01/31/2017 with a letter confirming that they have found a renter from 1 st. Feb2017 and we should pay$ 2340. according to me since i have already paid you rent for 3 additional months beside that you are charging $ 650 for cleaning etc. when we vacated the place you should have brought to our notice that we should clean the place otherwise additional charges will be levied. which they did not. since we did not pay by Jan end since the invoice raised was unjustified. NORTH WEST HILL APARTMENTS reported the case tp NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS INC. ATLANTA GA PH. NO 404592 0222 with case no 3542985. when we disputed the amount north west hill apartment sent the collection agency with demand of $7002.17 this act by north west hill apartment is with total intention of cheating the customer and troubling with a threat to report the matter to the credit agencies. this is totally arm twisting and not fair in any kind of business. Since we have already paid additional rent for 3 months and 2 months advance notice it is totally unfair on NORTHWEST HILLS to ask more money. they assured us that they will find a renter in two months of advance notice and we will not be charged any penalty. Now they have become greedy and unfair to the renter. please help us since i am already a senior citizen and do not have more money.
