I first met Derrick Norris on a dating site. He's originally from Boston and now lives in the Atlanta area. He claimed to be a restuarant consultant and an entrepeneaur. After just getting to know him for a few weeks, he came up with an elaborate story of how he had just been scammed and his bank account was frozen. He asked me to lend him $300 which I declined since I was still getting to know him. Just a few weeks after this incident, he once again asked for a loan and this time said his parents were in a financial hardship and needed $700 in order to help them immediately.
Although I knew it was a bad idea, I still went ahead and let him borrow the money (paid thru paypal to Norris Expos LLC). I had a feeling I was never going to see this money again, but I chose to believe he would. Fast foward a month later and I've yet to see the money I lent him. I have asked on multiple occasions and keep getting the run around. His stories never match but he is certainly consistent with the fact that he pretends he's going to pay just as soon as he receives some money he's owed from a client. He's promised to meet me and pay me at least 5 times and never showed up. I finally asked him to send it via paypal and to no surprise, the money has never been transfered.
This man is a liar, and a con. He will charm you with his innocent and very laid back personality. His new "adventures" include restaurant consulting, building container homes and opening a bar in Buckhead. He cannot be trusted and you cannot believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He targets single women and older retired seniors. He's about 6'2, athletic build, dark and drives a black truck with Alabama plates. He's on most social medias (FaceBook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc). He appears on most of them as Boston Norris or Derris Norris.
If you're a female, RUN as fast as you can! If you're a business owner, count your money, he's probably ripping you off! If you're a retured senior, don't fall for his "I'm going to building you a home for less than 40K".
Fool me once, shame on you; food me twice, shame on me! I can assure you he won't be fooling me twice!
