Ninacci Diamond Reviews

  • Dec 8, 2017

I have been in the Jewelry Industry since 1994 and have been involved in on-line jewelry sales since 2007. I sell high end jewelry and engagement rings on multiple platforms. My record is good and I have served thousands of clients successfully.

On June 13, 2016 I was contacted by a client from eBay inquiring about a GIA Certified 3 carat Pear Shape Diamond. I went to a wholesale Platform called RapNet and found a company called Ninacci advertising such a Diamond. Ninacci advertised a 3.01 carat GIA certified Diamond for $17,079. I contacted the Company and spoke to the companies Director of Operations, Raman Nourizad. I asked Raman if the Diamond was available and informed him I have a client interested in purchasing it. Raman informed me the Diamond was available for purchase so I continued to communicate with my client and make a deal. After I closed the deal I once again contacted Raman to make arrangements to get the Diamond from him. Raman informed me that the Diamond was currently with another client in New York. Raman told me to pay him for the Diamond and he would make arrangements to get the Diamond for me. I paid Raman on June 14 with a Business Check for $17,079 and was informed that I would receive the Diamond the next day. I contacted Raman the next day on Wednesday June 15th and he did not have the Diamond to give me. I told Raman that I had promised my client that he would have the Diamond by Friday June 17th. Raman suggested that he ship the Diamond directly to my client and I reluctantly accepted his offer because my first priority was my client. I emailed Raman my clients address and Raman shipped a package directly from his New York office to my client on Wednesday June 15th.

On June 16th my client received and accepted a package from Raman. My client contacted me the same day and informed me that he received the wrong item. My client informed me that he received a 2.53 carat Marquise shape Diamond rather than the purchased GIA Certified 3.01 carat Pear Shape Diamond. I immediately contacted Raman and informed him what my client had told me. I asked Raman to provide me with an explanation and surveillance footage to show that his company had in fact sent the right Diamond. Raman was not willing to provide me any explanation or surveillance footage. Raman had informed me that he did not have surveillance cameras in his New York office.

Throughout the next two weeks I tried to get Raman to take responsibility and help me with this problem but was unsuccessful. Raman had told me that I must deal with his father Peter Nourizad. When I spoke to Peter, he informed me that I must speak to his wife. No persons in Ninacci Inc were taking responsibility. I informed both Peter and Raman that I had authorized my client to return the package. I was assured that they would participate in the acceptance of the Returned package. When the package was returned to Parcel Pro in Los Angeles on June 28th no one from Ninacci Inc came to witness the opening of the package.

I opened the package in the offices of Parcel Pro on June 28th. I had a representative of Parcel Pro video tape the opening of the package along with another person from my office doing a separate videotaping. I opened the package and started to evaluate the product that was returned to me. The item returned to me was a Marquise Shape Cubic Zircon.

I contacted Raman and informed him of my findings. Raman was unresponsive and denied all responsibility for this transaction. I issued a full refund to my client and am stuck with the burden of coming out of pocket $17,079 and legal fees. I have filed a complaint against Ninacci Inc and still continue to pay legal fees to get my money back from Ninacci Inc.
