In september Mr. Nikolas G. Maris called me to see if I would like to invest some money into a property and he would share the title or profit with me. This was the second time he had me invest with me and the first time he did return the money yet, without interest. This time he did not return the investment money of 1300.00 on the deadline of our agreement note that was notarized and signed. I have attempted many times to collect the funds and he would everyday state he would come over with cash or he would deposit it into my checking account. at one time he gave me a check of 3000,000 and told me to deposit it in november and it bounced and I was charged a service fee. once again I started to call him and state that there is a outstanding check he owes me and then in december he writes me another check dated january 2, 2018 for 3600.00 and on that day I went to wells fargo and the teller stamped it insufficient funds. I called him to let him know and he was very angry and stated that he would give me the funds the following day and never did. at one point he even texed me a deposit slip that he was going to put cash into his account so I can cash the checks. I attemtped to cash the check 3 times yet, there were no funds in the account. I reported to the police and again attempted to contact him and he stated that he would have the money to cover the fraudulent checks before he got my certified demand letters. He owns food trucks and various business around town and it appears that he does not have the funds and never did once show me the deed to the property that he was supposed to purchase and I was to be part of the transaction. He has been promising to return the funds since november 3, 2018 when the due date of themonies were to be returned for the note for investment of 1300.00 and 10 percent interest if he did not invest the monies into properties for me.
