Yes My name is Jeff, i ordered a motherboard the ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS back on 11/23/16 well i built my pc and all and had it working December 6th December 16th i go to turn it on it just shuts its self off. Now this has been less than thirty days of having the motherboard and i bought a 3 yr ADH which covers spills, cracks, drops, etc. Well i sent off for a rebate but i had to send the UPC label off for this to asus which NEWEGG was the only site offering the rebate no one else was, therefor newegg paid asus to hand them out if people followed through.Well i did and My liquid cooling unit
(all brand new equipment might i add) just erupted and the servicenet
people said they would cover it, but after being on hold with them
forever, they said since it was an internal spill which classifies as an
internal leak/spill there's nothing they can do about it until after
the manufacturers warranty runs up , well ASUS the manufacturer doesn't
know when they will get in any more of the model i need.I got in contact with newegg, asus,
and service ent several times to fix this issue i feel if i paid 24
extra dollars to cover something known as an ACCIDENT it should be
covered, well not to them never buy an ADH if you do say you spilled
water on it and do it then they have to replace it. Anyway I contacted
newegg and i made a resolve on the 18th with a rep whom i cant remember
saying they cant take the board back because the upc label is gone and
it would violate the terms and conditions by doing so, well after being
on hold for about 20 minutes or so he said my name, and we can return it
for a small restocking fee of 29.99 which would of given me 90 bucks
store credit plus the 24 dollars for the warranty 114.00 10 dollars shy
of reordering the exact board but i said oh well i needed it and i
needed it badly.
Well i sent it off and all and after i
sent it off i found out that since i ordered my processor and
motherboard together in a bundle that they were deduction 20 dollars
leaving me with 70 store credit plus a 24 dollar rebate i could do
nothing with except refund which issued for. However, a few nights ago
on December 28th 2016 a man by the name of "Marvin X" sent me some
emails (which i have everyone saved and archived for this such reason)
regarding the board and said since im wanting the exact same board model
and the brand (basically a replacement) he switched the 70 dollar in
store credit to an RMA, well inspection was finished today and its
saying im going to receive a 70 dollar in store credit im so mad. He
basically lied to me to shut me up. They have run me in circles since
December 16th, enough is enough. I will never purchase another thing
from them there customer support reps are all morons
And
the upc code only has the scan-able barcode which scans it out fo the
warehouse and the serial number of the board on it which is also on the
board its self it would not be hard for them to slap another upc sticker
on it regulated to a price. I feel as though I've been ripped off and
ripped off good. When i paid 144.95 for something (the motherboard not
the processor combo) and am only getting 70 back Ive been ripped off
they cannot restock the board anyway its going to have to be smelted.
Now when they took the board back they violated their own terms and
conditions and im in the process of gathering my lawyers to go to court
over this i know its lame and sounds corny, but i just want my
replacement board, i make money on the internet and they're taking my
livelihood. Please help me Ripoff Report, ive told this story so many
times that i need to take a few valuims to stay calm it angers me. Guys
