I was contacted by Bruce Hill on 6-17-19 and Conned into buying an ad spot on a local radio station and guaranteed 5 spots within a week in late august, I made my first payment on 7-17-19 in the amount of $124 and decided I would not make another payment until I received at the very least an ad that we would hear.
I, my wife and our 2 techs listened to this station and never heard the ad play, my business was never mention and I never received a call, email, letter or a copy of the recording. when I reached out to NWM I was informed that the station had an error and they were going to air me at a later date we agreed I wouldn't make a payment until I heard it, I never heard it.
I still continued to receive the bills and collection notices until I called Bruce and demanded a refund, he advised me he could stop further notices and cancel everything out but I wouldn't receive a refund of my $124 I wasted with this bogus company.
We received a call offering an ad for our repair shop to be aired in a local radio station for Veterans Day. They played the ad over the phone and we asked them to email the information for us to check and get back to them. Now they keep calling trying to collect $1335.00 for an ad we never approved and according to them never aired at the radio station. They say that even the ad was not played we have to pay for the production of the ad. When they called they played the ad so it was produced even before they approached us. This is a big scam and is becoming a problem with them harassing us trying to collect for something that we never approved. Is a shame that people like this use the Veterans to try and make money.
I was contacted by New World Markieting for a Radio Ad for Vetrens Day as a Military Salute. I never received a bill but was going to contact our office manager to see if we received a bill. I tried calling Tricia at (847) 830-2023 and left a voice message. A month later I received a harrassing phone call wanting payment. I stated I needed a bill and a week later I received one. The problem is the bill did not contain a Notorized copy of the Radio Script and play times, as required by the FCC. I also contacted the Radio station which is 2 1/2 hours away from us. I spoked to the Sales Manager and he has not contract NWM nor knows of any Military Salute ads being run at his station, nor has heard of our Company. We will be forwarding this information to local law enforcement, also to the Postal Inspection Service since the bill was sent trough the mail. I will be reaching out to the FCC and lodge a complaint.
