Built a new home and bought an appliance repair insurance policy from the supplier. Our gas cooktop stopped working. I called New leaf and received a Service Order number and some names of local repair firms. None worked on our brand, Thermador, so I had to find my own repairman. Meanwhile we couldn't cook. My guy fixed it, $99 initial visit and $ 341. for parts and labor, which I paid.
I emailed the Bill to New Leaf. I followed up a couple weeks later and was told I had been approved and a check would be cut in a few days. the contact recommended I follow up on it which I thought was strange. Didn't get a check so I did follow up. I was told I hadn't submitted my paperwork correctly and no check was sent. I followed up via email laying out my efforts.
I've heard nothing and it's now 5-18-22. I filed a legit claim and they obviously don't want to pay. I paid $1503. for 5 years worth of coverage. I would not use this firm again.
