Purchased sample Neudermis cream and Flawless Anti-Aging Serum for $4.95 shipping. Company charged my credit card $4.95 for two seperate shipments and another $178.63 for the products. I used the product one time, had severe skin irritation, called the company to return the product and was told I could not return as I had opened it. I was on hold 40 minutes for the Neudermis cream, received no satisfaction from the telephone call and was instructed to call another number for the Flawless Anti-Aging Serum. I waited another 20 minutes on hold, same on-hold music, messaging, etc to be told the same thing. This company has deceptive business practices for the following reasons:
1. It was not clear on their website that I would be charged an additional fee for trying their product.
2. It was not clear that I was signing up for a monthly shipment of their products.
3. It is unacceptable business practice to not allow returns or refunds.
4. I have returned the product and still have not been issued a refund.
My mother saw their ad one night online and decided to try it. There was nothing saying about futher charges at that time. I see now there is a small box. Upon trying the neudermis for 3.95 shipping she also had to click through to try lavish skin for 3.95 shipping. So she agreed. The products came but made no difference and being they were teeny bottles (about the short side of a cc wide by a pencil width thick) she thought they were "samples" and that was the end. As it turned out, yesterday, she was charged $88 for one and $89 for another. There was no packing slip with them and nothing forewarning her of the billing. I called and tried to talk to the person there. They refused to do ANYTHING, since the trial date was past. I explained that my mother hadn't been aware of the future charges and that we needed this taken care of. They refused to do ANYTHING. THen I got the "regional" supervisor on the phone. Let me tell you, I am in Sales. I also do Customer service. I would NEVER EVER speak to a customer the way this woman spoke to me. I was asking questions about the company and how all of this works. Where they are. I wantedto know if they use a call center or in house sales, as I wanted to know exactly where I'd called. She refused ot divulge ANY info.
So this is where it gets interesting. I went to their website
DO NOT buy ANYTHING from this company. I am in the process of hiring an attorney for their "contract" agreement. There is NO science, rhyme or reason behind this "product". It's amazing what spending a bunch of money on marketing will get you. This company is so crooked and evil, they would try to sell bottled air if they could. BAD, BAD PEOPLE. I don't know how those people working there can sleep at night knowing they're RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!
I am angry and ashamed but not too ashamed to warm others NOT to purchase anything from Neudermis or Laviish Skin Care. They got me by saying a trial product was available for 3.95 & 4.95 shipping fees. I then discover that my credit card was charged for 88. & 88. 2 weeks later.
My credit card company will hopefully help me fight the charges. I have never even opened the boxes and wanted to return the products but was informed by customer service that even if I do no credit would be given my account.
I thought I was smart enough not to fall for a scam like this! Be careful...almost forgot to mention that they claimed approval from Dr. Oz!
BUYER BEWARE! Read the fine print on the contract! This is such a good product they only give you a 14 day trial -- but they tell you it takes 4 weeks to see results. Need I say more?
When I tried to get a refund and cancel the subscription 15 (instead of 14 days, I had a car accident) days after the initial purchase, they offered to let me continue with the money order at a 75% discount. So the product is only really worth $20? Just saying...
My wife took advantage of the "free" sample order as shown on Facebook. I later looked into it. Found out there would be subsequent shipments at $89.+ every 14 days. Called to cancel on the 15th day after I saw the charge on my account for $89++. The company could not find any record of my wife. I told them they had no trouble finding her account to charge but they cannot find her in their records???? This is a scam, unscrupulous business practices and every other name I can find to call them. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Posted on facebook for a free trail but they didn't discloe that it was for 30 days and then your debit or credit card would be charged. They charged me $88.78 for waht I expected to be $3.95. When I called a gentleman told me that the terms and conditions specified that you had to call within 30 days or your card would be charged. No where on that ad when you put your information in does the terms come up and tell you. They are making alot of money. I want my money back.
This company only wants to make money. They are not concerned with customer loyalty or whether the product really works. It's only a 10 day trial because shipping time takes 4 days. They put a lot in the fine print in the hopes people don't read the entire agreement.
This product is nothing more than a company stealing your money through shady practices!!! I ordered the cream with one click in response to a free trial. The product came in a box with no packing slip with no warning of future shipments or charges or any way to cancel. After receiving the product with a hefty debit from my account I called the number next to the charge on my account to cancel. The next month I received it again!!! I called with the cancelation number and was told that I had never called. They told me that the 2 products that were sent came from 2 different companies. No body said that when I ordered or when I cancelled the first time!! All it is is a way to steal your money!!!!!
So far they haven't mishandled me....you just have to call as soon as the simple packaging comes in the mail, and they give you an entire mother 39 days to complete the trial. The murderous is wonderfully light and fresh and concentrated.I'm sure alot of these creams are only doing just as far as anything can get, but they were able to give me 75% off, putting a price on one shipment every 90 days, at $22.00 a jar, and $3.99 ,for shipping. Since I dab it around my eyes and the creasy neck area, I really don't need more than that, then I supplement with a less expensive cream that's great like Ponds antiwrinkle cream ....most drugstores.I do really love the epidermis cream.....it feels good, and while I'm now sure how much of a corrective or preventative it is , since I've recently begun with it, I like it so much that I don't mind paying the $104.00 bucks a year to have it shipped every three months.....that's the least they would do at that PRICE, and so I'm giving it the year to see the results.....right now my skin feels soft, smooth and great......I thinks it's a great skin cream, and definitely helpful at both preventing and helping reverse signs of skin aging.Smells fresh...good consistency*
