I bought a netTALK TK6000 with "Lifetime" service in 2010. In 2017 they cancelled the service (which was still working until that day) saying it was only for the "lifetime of the unit" (which still worked fine). I contacted customer service but they refused to reactivate my service. Very disappointed at their false advertising.

The lifetime works as long as the device is working. If the device breaks then the plan will also be lost. The lifetime plan only qualifies for TK6000.
If your Tk6000 breaks you may upgrade to a DUO which will give you access to the new DUO features, however the plan would be changed to an annual Basic Plan. "
After renewing my annual service subscription I had service for a few days and then it stopped.
I contacted the company website and followed the instructions for troubleshooting and it still would not function. I tried the Help/Chat button but got no response.
I tried calling my netTalk number from another phone and got a recording that I had reached a number that is no longer in service.
For the past week I have gone to their website and clicked the Help/Chat button numerous times and received no response.
I searched the internet and found a phone number for netTalk (866) 967-1063 but it is no longer in service.
Now, when I call my netTalk phone number the call will not complete. I dial the number and it immediately disconnects.
I have had the service since 2011 and was more or less satisfied until this year. I just paid $51.69 for another year of service and don't have service and cannot get any help from the company and I am very angry.
I am writing about the lack of any cutomer service from NETTALK. my DOU has not worked since Septamber and have contacted nettalk several times about my problem. What I get is a person who knows nothing and am told I will be sent to the concerned department, whatever that is, I am guessing it does not exist as noone ever contacts me even when I am asked to give them a date and time they can call me. NO response.
This company is a rip off. Do not use them. Their phone service stinks. dropped calls, connection problems, Customer No Service, and they sell your phone numbers to third parties, where you cannot port your number out. Complaints with the FCC does not resolve the issue. They want your money so they say to allow you to port your number out. Please tell others to stay away from this company.
