After discussing our website needs with Marcin Ladowski, claimed "CEO" of NETROSTAR, Inc. of Miami, Florida (which we thought was an odd title for a tiny company), we hired Netrostar in January, 2010 to finalize and update our company website. Upon execution of the contract (authored by Ladowski) we issued a 50% Deposit and patiently waited for progress. Weeks turned into months and after numerous calls went unanswered, my business partner and I made an impromptu appearance at Netrostar's Miami office.
As it turns out, the supposed 30+ employee company is located in a 300 square foot 2 room office with Mr. Ladowski and a young man (early twenties) who's knowledge level is that of an intern. After questioning Mr. Ladowski it was apparent that no work had been done on our project; rather, that he had used our $3,000 deposit to take a trip home to Poland.
Without getting into details (although we would be happy to do so if requested)- the end result was months of aggrevation, lies, deceit and lack of fulfillment of the contracted work by "Netrostar" (which we would not even classify as a company-rather, a couple of guys with some business cards). They stole our money, did not deliver the contracted product and were incompentent and unknowledgable the entire time. They told us bold-faced untruths", were confrontational, argumentative and simply an overall incredibley poor, unprofessional, unproductive, wasteful experience for us.
With our company having been in business in south Florida for over 23 years, we have worked hard to build confidence with our customers and earn their loyalty while providing them with high quality products and services at fair, competitive prices. Its the "only" and frankly the "best" way to do business in America.
After dealing with Marcin Ladowski and his buddies it is obvious that these guys came over from Poland expecting to make it big in the USA - which is not necessarily a problem. But, they are trying to do it by lieing and getting customers deposits and then not fulfilling their obligations. For any of you who have had a website built, you know that the cost is between $1,000 - $10,000 usually- depending upon the particular size and specifications of the website. Clearly, a 50% deposit is insufficient an amount to go to the expense of hiring an attorney and pursuing restitution from these people and therefore, we have chalked it up to a learning experience that we wish to share with others in the hope of no longer fortifying this fraudulent companies.
