Nerium, without my authorization, set up a recurring purchase from out of my account. They deducted $60 from my account and now will not refund it. The product was never shipped I contacted them before it was sent and now they refuse to refund my money. It was withdrawn on 5/23 and here it is 6/8 and the money still has not been refunded.
My wife purchased Nerium Age Defying Cream from a Nerium "distributor" and was promised that if she called and cancelled the autoship within 30-days, she would not get any more charges from the company.
My wife called within the 30-day period. It took many calls to get through, and the only way to get through was to select the sales number. The company continued to charge $31.97 a month to her card. This continued for almost a year, and the charges kept on coming. The only way to stop the charges was to cancel the credit card. Chase went after them, and they refused to work with Chase at getting my wifes money refunded.
The "customer service" people said that she was getting charged for being an "business consultant". When my wife called the distributor, the distributor quit because all of our customers were having the same thing happening to them, so the distributor quit.
This is a rip-off company, do not buy from them.
My wife said the cream didn't do anything to help with controlling wrinkles any more than any other good lotion or cream.
Nerium International, which apparently sells moisturizer over the internet, billed my credit card for $150. It's total fraud. I had never heard of this company until they hit my card. When you call the company you hit a wall of phone bank employees who are clearly trained to deflect you on the promise that someone will contact you in 24 hours. I've been calling for four days now and every time I call I'm told "24 hours." They also flatly refuse to transfer you to a manager or "corporate". I've reported to my credit card company.
