Where do I start... First I contacted Nelsons Marine Transport to transport my ATV frim Dallas area to Minneapolis Mn. Art (the owner) seemed very nice and responsible at first. Once we agreed on a price for transport all was going great! Well.... Here's where all the problems with this ROOKIE company start!! He agreed to pickup my ATV on Wednesday August 26th and did just that! He refused to leave ANY paperwork with the pickup person in Dallas area. No condition report or Bill Of Lading.. Once Art picked up my ATV he went on the MISSING list.. Communications were HORRIBLE... After about a week of ZERO communication I started getting worried.. He wouldn't return calls or texts.. Days later he replies that his truck broke down in the Collage Dtation Texas area. (All this was by text) he wouldn't answer calls or return calls which was concerning to me as all was sounding pretty fishy at this point.
So a week goes by and he sends me pictures of his truck on a hoist getting so called turbo work done on his 2015 Chevy 3500.... Two days go by with no replies to texts or calls. At this point he's had my ATV for 7 days and should be in Minnesota by now. So I call the Chevy dealership to find out the truck hasn't been in since June 12th for that work! It's OCTOBER 5th at this point! So this was ONE BIG LIE!! once I found this out I call his insurance company to let them know I'm concerned about the whereabouts of my ATV and its condition. They told me to file a police report which I did! Once I did LOW AND BEHOLD Art reserficed and freaked out... He pushed my ATV OFF into a parking lot in the Houston Tx area... (Didn't he just tell me he was somewhere by Collage Station)???? So the police called me back and found the ATV and Art at the Motel 6 and I have a towing company on the way to retrieve my ATV... So on a Friday night I have to drive from Minnesota to Houston Tx to pickup my ATV.. Art did try at one point to get me to pay him before he'd tell me where to pickup my ATV.. So I'd have to admit I'd NEVER TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY.. Art has HORRIBLE communication skills and and has sent texts cursing at me using foul language. We are filing a law suit for our time,fuel,motels and putting 2,600 miles on my truck to pickup my vehicle from this JOKE for a carrier.
