I wouldn't even give them a star but had to select one. I requested a transcript in July and it is August a few days before classes. Cant start fall classes because I contacted the school to see what the hold up is and they have nothing in their system for a transcript request. I contacted the service twice between the initial request and now and they said 7-10 business days blah blah blah. Missed enrollment because I relied on a crappy service that hasn't refunded the money I paid them yet.
Found the website online while looking for a way to get my HS transcripts. It's been over a month and have not received a thing. I've tried contacting www.needmytranscript.com and the "support" email address they provided.. not a word from them. Save yourself the time and money, call the school you are trying to get the transcripts from.
I ordered my HS transcript from needmytranscript back on July 5 and it is now Sept 2 and the college I am going to STILL has not recieved my transcript. I also ordered my own unofficial copy and have not seen that either.
I contacted Needmytranscript to see what the deal was on August 13 and they said they contacted the HS and that they mailed it out that day.....Never saw the transcript. Do not waste your money. Im surprised no one has sued this company. I now have to wait until Fall 2016 since they did not send it and I have to go through my old HS directly.
Basically I needed my transcripts to be delivered within a month of requesting them. It didn't happen. They did respond and try to correct the situation but it was too late.
Just call the guidance office. I called the guidance office and they had my transcripts in the mail same day. This service is completely unnecessary. You could achieve the same results in 1/1000th of the time.
I requested a high school transcript for my wife on July 27, 2016 to start school on Aug 29th. it is the last thing she needs to select classes and order books. Two weeks later I contacted them to find the status and they replied that the request had been sent to the school and to wait 7-10 business days...blah blah blah. Then a week later still nothing so I replied again and said my wife missed the first deadline to enroll in fall classes and still nothing. Finally on August 26th i contacted the high school to find the status and they said there is nothing for my wife in thier system for a transcript request!!! Now I am trying to get my refund I paid them and an actual explanation on what the waste of time was. Still trying to get a transcript from the college instead which means my wife cant start the fall classes because of a crappy service!!
I contacted on line Need My Transcript I paid it on line. I was told I need to contact the school for my transcript and they gave me the name and address phone number. I should of just called the school instead. I was lucky in my transcript from High School it showed the classes I took at the school and where the State was that I went for half a semester. I was disappointed. One time I needed a transcript for aTrade School that had shut down and I went throught the State for the transcripts and I had gotten several notorized copies. It would be better to go through the State or the School for transcripts.
So I just payed for it and I feel so dumb for not looking at these reviews first. Like I didn't loose a big amount of money but I still lost money and I just feel stupid.
I gave a one star because I had to. Do not use this service because they lack exactly that, service. I submitted my request weeks ago and my high school had not received the request. I tried to cancel the request but they said they couldn't because it had already been sent. Not. I disputed with my credit card and I followed up with the high school and asked them to not fill the request, should they receive one from this company. I since sought the service of another more reputable, legitimate service and they processed it same day!
This need my transcript are a big big scam don’t trust them don’t waste your money you will never receive your transcript
