NCG, Inc. Reviews

  • Sep 5, 2018

So what happened?

I see where the company was berated by this review, but the review doesn't say what happened? I'm curious about what the issues were - Not getting paid? Not getting trained? Not getting... what...

Just saying, "Don't work here" doesn't tell me anything. For all I know, the rating is from a disgruntled worker - which I've run across plenty of them in the past as well. Please fill in the details.

I would advise anyone thinking of working at NCG incorporated to steer clear of this company and I hope that by writing this review it will save someone the time and expense of considering working here. If any part of you gives a sh*t about being paid, don't work here. Or go volunteer for a great cause if you're going to work for free. The owner Jolene Rochester (Jolene Foor) is a habitual liar and a spectacularly dishonest human being all around. Think snake oil salesman who sells you a bunch of bull by convincing you it's a great opportunity for your future. I don't even know if she intends to be a liar or if she's just so much in the habit of bullsh*tting everyone around her that she just says whatever she needs to to cover her own rear end. This filters down to every part of this company. You will be told lots of pretty things that sound wonderful -- if they were true. DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE MANIPULATED. Don't let her "I care about you" speech and her "big picture" nonsense cloud your vision. Don't let all the positive Glassdoor reviews saying "I learned so much" and "the only con was being out of my comfort zone" fool you - because if these employees are happy now it's only because they haven't been bs-ed yet - or haven't realized it. If you decide to go against my advice and the reviews of every person on Glassdoor then don't say you weren't warned. Tigers can't change their stripes.

My advice: If for some crazy reason you decide that you want to work for this company and take the risk... question anything and everything that you are told by Jolene Rochester. Save records of all of your conversations with her so you can take her to court when she inevitably lies to you. Stay on your toes. Don't take any excuses. There are plenty of great companies out there to work for in Connecticut, and NCG inc. or Northeastern Consulting Group Incorporated or whatever name they actually go by is NOT one of them. Beware.
